Dog grooming

If you book an appointment with us, please show up for it or at least let us know you won't be able to make your appointment so we can give your appointment to someone else. We have had 6 people this week alone, not turn up for their dogs appointment. This puts massive pressure on the groomers as it puts everyone else who has booked an appointment waiting longer for their dogs hair cut due to time wasters. We
then have to try and fill that appointment behind schedule.

We are looking for someone passionate about animals. Must be reliable and trustworthy with experience of caring for animals.

The position is for a grooming assistant who can bath, and dry dogs.Look after the animals in boarding, as well as serve in the shop. Giving advice to customers about products and what foods and supplements are best for their pets. Fitting new collars and harnesses. Must be confident taking telephone enquiries.

Newcastle dog owners, we need your help.

Mr E, 82, is widowed and lives on his own now in Newcastle. He and his wife always had dogs, their last was a Border Terrier and he’s loves them and really misses having one in his life.

For health reasons Mr E isn’t able to get out and about as much as he’d like so he spends a great deal of time alone at home. He would love to have some company and a dog to cuddle again. He says “all dog owners who volunteer for Wag must be wonderful”! He’s right of course!
