In memory, in kindness, in hope...Ginny is coming to the UK! 🇬🇧 ✨️

Wonderful news! Thanks to the incredible kindness and generosity of our supporters, we have reached Ginny's travel target and she can now take her place on the next Happy Bus to the UK! 🚌🇬🇧❤️

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who helped make this possible 🫶. Every contribution mattered and brought Ginny one step closer to her new life. Big thanks also to Kate for her kindness 😊.

Our most special thanks of all go to Marie and Joyce for their extraordinarily generous gift 💗
This donation is especially touching, as it was given in loving memory of dear Joyce, who sadly very recently made her journey across the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾

In the midst of such sadness, Marie chose to honour Joyce's memory by helping another dog in need begin a brighter future. We know that Ginny's journey to safety and happiness will be a beautiful tribute to a much-loved friend who will never be forgotten. ❤️

You may remember blind Anya, who travelled to her forever home thanks to all of you. ❤️

Now her sister Ginny has been given a once-in-a-lifetime chance to join her.

Not in the graveyard where they were dumped.

Not in the kennels where they have spent years waiting.

But in a loving home, together. 🏡❤️

Ginny is a very frightened girl, and opportunities like this rarely come for dogs like her. If she misses this chance, she could spend the rest of her life in kennels.

We need to raise £835 for her kennel debt, vet costs and transport so she can finally travel home to her sister.

Hi… I’m Dora 🐾
A Lab mix girl, born May 2020

💔 I lost my family…
✨ but I’m still holding on to hope ✨

I adored them. They were my whole world.
But my anxiety was too much for them, and one day I was taken to kennels.

I didn’t understand what was happening…
I thought I’d be going home again soon
So I waited
💔 But they never came back 💔

Nearly two years have passed since that day.
I am safe, and I am making progress all the time ❤️‍🩹
But kennels are loud… overwhelming… and so very lonely
And for a sensitive girl like me, it’s not a life — it’s just existing.

About me...

🌼I’m a good girl, clever and playful. And I still believe in joy, even after everything.
🌼I love a game of fetch and being outdoors
🌼And once I feel safe, I really love being close to my people
🌼I need to be homed as an only pet as I have become reactive to dogs while in kennels.

I’m a little unsure with new people. So I need someone experienced and patient, someone who understands that trust takes time.
But when it comes… it’s steady, loyal, and full of love 💗

🏡 I’d really love a quiet rural or semi-rural home
Somewhere calm, without children or cats, where I can settle at my own pace.

You may remember blind Anya, who travelled on our last transport to her forever home thanks to all of you. ❤️

This is Ginny, her sister.🥹

Ginny has now been given a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be reunited with Anya...
Not in the graveyard where they were dumped.
Not in the kennels where they have spent years of their lives.
But in a home full of kindness, freedom, patience and love. 🙏🥹

Ginny has always been a very scared girl, terrified of the world and of people. Life has never been easy for her, and because of her fears, opportunities like this simply do not come around often.

This beautiful family has already opened their hearts to Anya. Now they want to give Ginny the same chance. Alongside her sister, other doggy friends, and amazing parents, she will finally be able to experience a life she could never have dreamed of.

Please help us get Ginny out of the kennels and onto the bus to her home.

We have a large amount to raise. Ginny has been in kennels for 4 years, and somehow we have managed to keep up with her expenses, but we currently owe 4 months of kennel fees (£260), plus her vet costs and transport (£575).

This brings the total needed to £835.

Please help us make this happen for this precious girl. We need to clear the outstanding debt and raise the funds she needs to travel.

Ginny is one of those dogs who may never get another chance. Not many people are willing or able to take on a dog so frightened of the world. If she misses this opportunity, she could spend the rest of her life in kennels.😞

💛🐾 I’M GOLDIE. THE KENNEL HUMANS THINK I’M PRECIOUS…MAYBE YOU WILL TOO? 🐾💛
🌼🐾 Hello hoomans… my name is Goldie. I’m powered by bum scratches, and inside this luscious big floofy bod of mine beats a very loving heart 💖🐾
It’s been a very confusing few years for me, and now I’m living in kennels in Blackpool 🇬🇧😔

For most of my life, I lived in a lovely home with lots of other dogs. But then life changed. My mum became very poorly and she just couldn’t look after me anymore 💔

Since then, I’ve moved around a bit and I didn’t really understand why. I tried very hard to be brave, but all the changes made me feel worried and anxious 🥺

Kennels can feel scary and sad, but the lovely staff here have been so patient with me. They took the time to get to know me properly instead of giving up on me ❤️

And do you know what happened?
One rainy day 🌧️, one of the humans came and sat with me while music played 🎶 and sang silly songs to me. I decided maybe she seemed safe… so I climbed right into her lap 😊

Apparently I made her laugh because I kept shoving my bum in her face for scratches 🍑😂. I even got so relaxed I nearly toppled over! I gave her little nose boops and lots of cuddles too 🥰
That’s the real me.

Once I trust you, I will love you with my whole entire heart 💝
I just need a little time to feel safe first.
The humans here say I’m a beautiful 5-year-old girl, and yes… I am quite a big lady at 48kg 😅🐶 But that just means there is more of me to love. And I walk nicely on my lead and really enjoy my strolls.

💛 I can feel nervous around strangers and I like to look after my people, so I’m hoping for an experienced home with kind, understanding humans who will help me feel secure. A calm, adult home with not too many visitors would suit me best, maybe somewhere quieter and greener 🌳
I might even like some friendly doggy friends too 🐕
More than anything though… I just want somewhere to belong again.

🌈Somewhere to rest my beautiful big head.
Somewhere to feel safe.
Somewhere my humans won’t give up on me🌈

Toby has already lost so much in his young life 😢 After spending years waiting in kennels, this gorgeous 4-year-old finally got the chance to experience what every dog dreams of… a home, love, comfort, and belonging 🏡🥺🐾

Now, through no fault of his own, Toby urgently needs a new foster or forever home before he faces the heartbreaking reality of returning to kennels again 💔

And honestly, after finally knowing what it feels like to be loved and safe, kennel life would break his heart 🥺

Toby is such a lovely boy 🧸💛 A big soft “teddy bear” with a gentle nature, a goofy side, and so much love to give. He adores cuddles, enjoys playing fetch 🎾, and is happiest simply being close to his person 🐾

Like many sensitive dogs, Toby can feel anxious sometimes — especially around men and busy environments, but he is currently working with a trainer and making really positive progress ✨ He just needs patient humans willing to continue helping him build confidence at his own pace 🌱

What Toby truly needs is the right home:
🌿 A calm, peaceful adult-only home
🚶 An active older person or couple with time for walks, routine, and bonding
💛 Someone patient who understands that trust takes time
🐶 He could happily live as the only dog or with a calm female companion

This boy is loving, loyal, clever, and trying so hard 🥹❤️ He simply needs understanding, stability, and people willing to see the wonderful dog underneath his worries.

Full rescue support will be provided — Toby just needs somebody to say “yes” before time runs out 🙏

❤️ My name is Luna 🌙🐾
I’m a 5-year-old Border Collie girl with a clever brain and a sensitive heart. And I've spent years now in kennels 😢

When my first family gave me up, my heart got confused. Then when I came to the UK, I tried sooo hard to be brave and perfect… but everything felt overwhelming and I didn’t always know how to cope 💔 Eventually I was returned because my humans couldn’t manage my anxiety 😢

I know words like “anxiety” and “reactive” can sound scary, but really I’m just a sensitive girl who’s had some big feelings and some hard changes in life 🥹

But the lovely people at the sanctuary helped me learn that humans can still be kind. With patience and gentle guidance, I’ve started trusting again… and everyone says I’ve blossomed beautifully ❤️‍🩹

🌟 Now I do happy little tap-dances when I’m excited 💃🐾
I LOVE learning new things because my collie brain likes to stay busy 😊
I enjoy peaceful walks, sniffing adventures, and hopping into the car like a brave girl for outings 🚗🌿
And every day I’m learning that other dogs aren’t so scary after all 🐕

I’m soft and affectionate in my own gentle way, but I still need a little time with new people. I like kind humans who let me come to them when I’m ready 🥰

I’m looking for a calm, adult-only home in a quiet area with lovely routines 🏡 Someone who can give me time and patience 💝

I may need a few meetings before I feel fully comfortable, but if you give me patience and understanding, I promise I’ll meet you with all the love in my heart ❤️

With multiple meets and gradual introduction I can be with another dog, but my ideal home will be as an only dog.
