👅🐕MEET FENNEL🐕👅

We made a home visit to see this lovely girl. Her owners have only recently got her and have had a few minor problems in the home.

Fennel was mouthing her owner, not listening to what she was being asked to do and was too much when guests entered the home. Outside she would pull on her lead and wanted to be going 100mph.

Alot of the issues are very puppy like behaviours but as she didn't get taught right from wrong as a pup these carried in into adulthood.

We covered how best to tackle the issues in the home, worked on some basic obedience, how to build a stronger relationship and then tackled her lead walking.

We took the session pretty easy and pretty slow so we could get some better foundations in.

Once they've been worked on we can push her a little further and get to work on getting the best out of her.

⭐️🐾GROUP WALK🐾⭐️

Another great group walk. Absolutely smashing it guys.

All of these dogs have previously had problems around other dogs and after their 1-1 sessions joined in the group walks to work around other dogs in a controlled way.

Dash now making an appearance on group work now he's old enough to be able to physically do it.

Whilst Dash doesn't have problems around dogs. This is a great way to make sure it stays that way.

🐾👅DOUGS FIRST SESSION👅🐾

We had this handsome lad come and see us for help with loose leash walking and dog reactivity.

At the start of the session he would pull his owner everywhere and when seeing a dog he would launch out of excitement.

As you can see on the reel by the end he was walking nicely and disengaging from Shads.

These guys have signed up to our Liberty Package so we can continue the work around various dogs.

👅🐾MEET RODNEY🐾👅

We had this lovely lad come and see us for help with loose leash walking and dog reactivity.

Rodney's owners have done so much work with him to try and conquer his dog reactivity but just couldn't seem to get him to overcome it.

He was always nervous of other dogs but after being attacked this cemented his feelings towards dogs. Since thus happened he would go into defence and he would act aggressively if they got too close.

We worked on his leash walking first which he picked up really quickly once he understood leash pressure and then we moved on to work on the reactivity.

We got Shads out to work him around and worked on teaching him to disengage from a dog. His owners had already worked on counterconditioning his emotional response but needed the final piece of the puzzle to stop him falling back into old habits.

By the end of the session he was walking around Shads with no problems and saw a couple of other dogs whilst going back to the car and did exactly as we had been teaching him during the session.

🐕🐾MEET ROCCO🐾🐕

We made a home visit to this lovely pup. His owner got in touch as she was struggling with him and his general behaviour.

Rocco is a very typical puppy, he mouth gets teeth zoomies, doesn't stop and will take the absolute mick if given the chance.

His owner had been struggling as he would turn into a land shark when in the house, would have her up numerous times in the night to toilet, would launch at guests and was difficult to get out as he is very nervous when out on a walk.

During the session we covered the importance of exposure in different environments, correct socialisation with people and dogs and how better to spread his walks out. We will do more practical on this as we progress through the package.

We got working on his behaviour in the house as he was extremely difficult to live with. We covered a better set up for him, how to utlise a lead more in the house, a better sleeping set up so he wouldn't mess in his pen and his owner could actually get some sleep.

Rocco is a really lovely boy but is a handful, we spent a lot of the session just teaching him what was and wasn't expected in the home and getting some foundations in place so we can utilise this more when we take him out.

👅🐾MEET NALA🐾👅

We had this lovely girl come and see us. Her owners have been struggling with loose leash walking, occasional dog reactivity, reactivity towards people when being petted and recall.

We started off the session by getting her more relaxed and happy to be handled by me so I could demonstrate what to do. To do this we worked on play to build trust and her gain more confidence.

During this we also covered the best way to use play to build a better relationship and also so we can use this as reward further down the line.

When Nala's owners tried to walk her she would pull like a train and occassionally kick off at dogs.

The reactivity towards dogs very much depended on what the other dog did, if the dog ignored her she wasn't bothered but if the dog reacted at her she would react back. To sort this we just need to change her emotional response to reactive dogs

For nice heel walking we worked on reinforcing the heel position and coupling this up with leash pressure so she understood not to pull through the lead.

Nala did really well with all of this. We then had her walking around a new area to see how she got on and she did brilliantly. Still lots to cover but a great start.

For the human reactivity, we need to take this slowly, her to build trust in her owners and build trust in strangers but how quickly she changed her attitude towards me she is off to a great start.

She was happy being handled, played with, petted and talking rewards in no time at all by me.

🖤🤎MEET HUDSON🖤🤎

We had this handsome boy come and see us for some puppy training. His owner booked him for help with general puppy training and help with leash walking and over excitable behaviour around people and dogs.

Hudson is a very typical 6 month old Rottweiler, full of life and wanting to be into everything.

His owner was struggling a little with him pulling and wanting to say hello to people and dogs. Whilst a certain amount of interest is perfectly normal for a social dog we dont want pulling or lunging to get to them, especially the size this boy will get.

We worked on leash pressure, building a stronger relationship so he wants yo engage with his owner and we finsihrd off by testing it out with a little distraction. Hudson absolutely aced it and as these guys have signed up to our Puppy Package we can continue the work.

🐾⭐️GROUP OBEDIENCE ⭐️🐾

Another fantastic group obedience session. Working on staying in positions, neutrality around dogs, place training and obedience under distractions.

Awesome work.

Next one starting 10th October, still a couple of spots left, must have previously had 1-1s to attend.

🐕🍺PUB DOGS AND WALKS🍺🐕

The last reel (I think) of our holidays.

Boys being pubs dogs, where super serious training takes place 😉🍺 and a fun blow out walk.

Shads I would expect calmness as we have done this so many times.

Dash has just turned 9 months so is in adolescence and this kind of exposure is great for him to teach him how to behave in these environments.

The water, well I could probably say to build confidence in water but I dont think either have a problem with that 😂

🖤🚢🚢BOAT TRIP WITH SHADS & DASH🤎

This was the first time the boys had been on a boat.

What you can see from the 1st half is they are alert, looking around and figuring it out.

There isn't any stress from either dog just a normal repsonse to something new.

The 2nd part of the video is on the trip back. You can see both boys are completely relaxed and chilled out.

This is why correct exposure is so important, they both got a good experience on the 1st trip out so the 2nd time it was no different to sitting on grass.

Apart from all of this. They had an awesome trip out.
