I'm making lots today but it's not cards!

Curtains are on the to-do list for what was Anna's room but is now the library!
Out comes the sewing machine I got for my 18th birthday and the even older one of my mum's as a spare. They've served well! Nothing quite like vintage tools of the trade!

I'm feeling a bit nervous about the match as it is directly on the selvedge line. Any tips welcome.

Just getting all my boxes set up ready for my Christmas "stamp a stack" / card buffet on Friday and Saturday. I just love this stamp set and will be offering both these cards in either colour way.

Which one is your favourite?

Still some spaces available if you want to book on. Last call is Wednesday night.
Totally suitable for beginners or seasoned crafters.

I've been crafting using some old Stampin UP kits recently and they are just perfect for on the go crafting. I've added a couple of photos of crafting on the Avanti train to London last week.
Then today a friend popped round with one of her old kits so we added a few extra bits from my stash and passed a great couple of hours crafting and chatting.

I've been having a lovely craft time for the last couple of hours finishing off my sample cards for tomorrow's "use up your scraps" class.
There's a choice of Christmas or flowers.
I'll be demoing a blue snow themed set of cards and then attendees can complete a couple of sets.

I just love my new stamp set homemade treats as I really enjoy a bit of baking!

Happy World Card making day.
We had a lot of inky fun!
I love that the sunflower embossing folder is so versatile and each card is so individual.

I'm all set up for tomorrow for my World Card Making day social and sale. All the sale goodies are out. Now I just need to set up my displays, prepare the make and takes and buy some biscuits!

So "TIDINESS",is not something that comes naturally to me. I'm on a Stampin Up course on-line course and week 1 was all about.de-cluttering based on the thought that clearing your desk clears your mind. So here's my before and after photos. Of course there was lots of procraftinating and making things went on.

Another part was "getting rid" of things you don't need in your business. I have a lot of retired items to sell and they will be on display at my world card making day event on 4th October. I've now extended that to be 10 am to 2pm. Do come along and grab yourself a crafty bargain.

There's a 15% sale on stamps and stamping tools today. It's a nice little offer and on top of that I'll offer free group posting to me for those local to North Staffordshire PLUS a small pack containing 12 6 x 6 inch sheets of paper from the photo below. So if you want anything ordering let me know by 7pm tomorrow.

I've had a couple of stamp sets in my basket for a while but have seen some lovely cards made with the Long Time no see set so think I'm going to have that as well. It will be great for some quick and easy cards for classes.

Do you prefer the dog or the llama? Let me know with a like for the dog, love for the llama and care if you think they are both gorgeous.
