Between grooming and doing work in the shop we have been so so busy, the ball is rolling at last ! We are waiting on some exciting deliveries for the shop too that i cant wait to show you !

Another reminder about Christmas- i only have a small handful of appointments left for December, please if you haven’t already book your Christmas grooms. I will be running a cancellation list for those that didn’t manage to get an appointment but i cannot guarantee I’ll be able to get you in before the big day 🎅🏻

Everybody always asks me who I can recommend for homeboarding/pet sitting and it’s always Marni over at snuggle paws 🐾 She absolutely dotes on her own dogs so I know yours will get the same treatment 🥰

🫣 Lets talk Christmas 🫣

Trust me, im the last person who wants to even think about Christmas, however its quickly creeping up on us 😳

December is one of the busiest months in a groomers diary, the past few weeks ive had so many of you book your Christmas appointments already but im here to remind you if you havent already please book your Christmas appointments sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

As always im going to be doing my best to squeeze everybody in but there is only so much i can physically do, if i cannot give you an appointment i will be running a cancellation list along side the diary if i have any appointments come free. I will be closing my books to new clients over December to ensure i can fit in all my regulars.

I cannot wait to decorate the shop again for Christmas 🥰 advent calendars and Christmas goodies will be on sale again this year, they were a huge hit last Christmas. Its shaping up to be another busy Christmas and im so grateful 🎄🤍

Not every groom is perfect, some grooms are hard to get through but ultimately your dogs wellbeing will always take priority. Little Susie is what we call a ‘Golden oldie’ she struggles to stand for very long and is quite fidgety (normal for older dogs) which makes getting the perfect groom pretty impossible. What i can guarantee though is shes as comfortable as she can be while im grooming her and that is the most important part, the groom always comes second - Humanity over vanity always 🤍

Keeping your dogs cool is so important during the warmer weather!

As temperatures rise, remember to:
- Keep fresh water available (adding ice to keep it nice and cold)
- Offer tasty frozen treats (frozen yogurt or frozen bone broth make great cooling treats) 
- Wet down their coat to help them cool off
- Limit exercise and only walk during cooler parts of the day, early in the morning or late at night 
- Keep your dog’s coat tangle and dead coat free, this helps air flow through the coat and allows body heat to escape
- Keep paw pads free of excessive hair, dogs sweat through their feet, keeping the hair short will help cool them down
