It feels like we spent 21 days counting down to our holiday whilst trying to survive the heatwave, and then suddenly⦠here we are, at the end of August and the holiday is nearly over too!
Seems the heatwave has finally come to an end back home, although it sounds as if we've gone straight from boiling hot to torrential rain. There really is no in-between!
We said goodbye to our lovely holiday boarders as everyoneās summer holidays started coming to an end, some absolute characters stayed with us over the summer and itās always a little bit sad when they go home. They become part of the Tiggy&Co gang while theyāre here.
We had an important birthday in the house ā our boy turned 19! How is that even possible? And J headed off to his first Reading Festival/Mudfest.
Iāve started taking lots of new enquiries ready to fill Georginaās walking diary and we already have clients waiting for daycare and boarding once her inspection and registration is complete...welcome to the Tiggy&Co family!
It feels like things are really starting to move now and Iām so excited about what weāre building. Iāve always wanted Tiggy&Co to grow, but I donāt want it to become something where the dogs just become numbers. The personal side of what I do is so important to me, so getting this right is a big deal.
Summer 2027 enquiries are already coming in, along with Christmas 2026. Yes, Christmas! Tiggy&Co is open over Christmas, so if youāre already thinking about your plans, please do get in touch. I know it seems ridiculously early to be talking about Christmas, but the diary really does start filling much earlier than youād think.
And now itās back to school and back to normal routines.
September feels like a new term at Tiggy&Co too. New dogs, new walking spaces, new daycare and boarding spaces and lots happening behind the scenes.
Itās been a busy summer, and at times a challenging one with the heat, but Iām really proud of how Tiggy&Co continues to grow. And I genuinely couldnāt do it without all of you.
Thank you for trusting me with your dogs, recommending me, supporting the business and generally being such a lovely bunch of customers.
