Trying to get a bit better at video editing. I wouldn't say I'm great yet but managed to put together a compilation of clips from Enzos few hours of training today!

We packed plenty into three hours, and I'm sure he'll sleep like a baby tonight 🤗

Had the stunning Enzo over for a few hours training today.

Enzo is a ~5/6 month old Springador, who for his age is doing remarkably well with his training!

He's not that keen on his harness being put on though (very common issue), so we've been practicing getting a bit more relaxed while it's being put on.

This clip is just a very small portion, before this I spent a good while very gradually asking him to put his head through, just a little bit further each time.

With all equipment training it's best to gow slow as possible. And Enzo certainly isn't fully relaxed with the harness yet, but it's an improvement from running away as soon as he sees it!

Can't wait to spend more time with Enzo and see him grow and learn 🐾

Doing some self control practice with Buzz today.

We're wanting to build up to him being able to stay while a person/dog walks past, as overexcitment is a word buzz knows quite well 😂

Typically we saw absolutely no one on the walk today, so that meant I had to get my silly hat on to try and simulate that overexcitment.

As you can see the first attempt did not go to plan 😂 in hindsight I should not have laughed afterwards, as I don't want to accidentally reinforce the behaviour, but even I dont get it perfect every time 🤷‍♀️

Making it easier, then slowly building back up to full excitement he managed to do some successful reps 🥳

It's never an issue if the dog doesn't get it right first try, that's what practice is for 🤗

First time off lead with me today for Biggie and it went perfectly!

When starting with a new dog I always build up trust with recall on the long line, and only when I am confident would I actually let them off.

A big win when he was off lead as well - left rabbit poo soon as I asked 🥳

Lovely easy walk to finish my week off with Rolo 🐾

I walk Rolo three times a week but I feel like he hardly gets featured as he's so good there's not much to show 😆 but we can appreciate how beautiful he is, as well as well behaved 🤗

Having myself a weekend off. Please still feel free to message with any photos/updates of the dogs, but any enquires/scheduling etc I'll reply on Monday ☺

What a beautiful boy Alfie is 😍

Alfie was my first consistent walking client and I've been walking him for about 9 months now and I love this big lad!

When we first started walking, his mam and dad wanted me to work on pulling and jumping up. He was quite the jumper and he's a big lad so I'd often be body slammed on arrival 😂

But it's literally been months since the last time he jumped up at me when I enter the house, and he's a dream on the lead now!

Recently we've been working on leaving food after a bread incident where I went flying as Alfie saw some bread, Alfie wanted the bread, Alfie got the bread 😆 he's not perfect with this yet but getting there 👊

I look forward to seeing Alfie every week, and always miss him when his m**s off work in the school hols. Here's to many more walks with Alfie 🤗

Progressing Biggie's leave today meant I came to the walk with a bag of rat poo to practice with (I do own pet rats not just collecting it 😂)

Biggie's issue is that he eats rabbit and bird poo, so needed something similar to practice with now we've nailed the food and he did very well, especially as he hasn't been learning it that long!

Had a very busy today, and another successful 121 (as usual forgot to get a photo!!). But being busy has felt good not overwhelming 🥳

Two in person 121s, completed it mate! 🥳

This has been such a confidence booster and I really feel like I'm back in a position to give the absolute best of my skills and experience again!

I completely forgot to get any photos (was in the training zone too much in the moment 😆), but Enzo and Harry have done brilliantly this morning and I thoroughly enjoyed doing their 121 sessions.

I am quite mentally tired afterwards, so think I'm going to stick to maximum of two 121s on any one day. But I've proved to myself I can do it, and I'm good at it!!

Got a few more 121s booked in over the next few weeks and I'm so looking forward to them.

Hannah the dog trainers back and she's here to stay. I've found some extremely useful techniques recently specifically for Neurodivergent people and they've honestly made such a difference. The happy, confident person I was at Dogs Trust is still in there, and she's slowly breaking through again 🥳🤗
