Some things are worth the wait!! Our lovely homebred Widget finally got to a show today!!! She’s not been the easiest, but boy was she worth the wait! Felt amazing!!
It’s taken two years to get her to be more rideable and balanced!! A year of hacking, then a year of basics and training. Can’t lie, I’ve questioned my sanity and wondered if I was loosing it in my old age, but it turns out time and slow was the right approach. Huge thanks to Ginny Turnbull for all her wisdom getting me to keep the faith!

Time to get some experience under her belt now!
