Mud spa treatment

This beautiful girl came in for a groom & teeth clean this week. Her teeth were pretty much plaque & tartar free apart from a little build up on one of her back molars.

Managed to remove the build up from her gum line & gave the rest of her teeth a thorough clean too. The reason her teeth are so good & clean, is her owner uses Willow Holistics Plaque Off spray as per Janet Roak’s recipe book.

Definitely recommend this product if your dog will let you clean their teeth at home.

Ultrasound dog teeth cleaning.

I’m finding more & more of my clients are adding this to their grooming appointments because they struggle to clean their dogs teeth. Like us dogs will have lots of bacteria 🦠 in their mouths and if not dealt with regularly, this could lead to plaque build up & then tartar.

It’s a gentle process, and ideally I recommend it done as a preventative process, so not letting the teeth build up with plaque & tartar as it isn’t a quick fix.

Had Lucy in for a groom the other week after an operation on her neck. Thankfully Lucy is use to me grooming her & I don’t need any grooming nooses to aid me or her. This is thankfully down to her owner introducing her to grooming at 17 weeks old with me. Introducing professional grooming to puppies & dogs is so important as training a recall or a stop command.
