At Bitework K9, we believe effective dog training is about more than simply teaching commands. It’s about building communication, control, confidence and a relationship that works in the real world.

Our 1-1 training sessions are available for any dog, any age and any issue, with training tailored to the individual dog and handler.

Whether you’re looking to improve obedience, work through behavioural difficulties, or develop protection skills, our sessions are practical, structured and focused on creating meaningful change.

⏰ PLEASE NOTE — 48 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY

When you book a session, that time is reserved specifically for you and your dog.

We understand that life happens, but cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur the full session fee.

Give us 48+ hours’ notice and you can cancel or reschedule without charge.

This allows us to keep our diary running fairly and gives other clients the opportunity to take available appointments.

🐾 THE TOOLBOX — BEHAVIOURAL WORKSHOP 🐾

Behavioural change isn’t about putting a plaster over the problem. It’s about understanding why the behaviour exists, having the right tools to address it, and knowing how to use them.

After the success & feedback from the last time we ran this workshop we’re looking at hosting it again around November.

The Toolbox is a hands-on behavioural workshop exploring the methods and science behind creating genuine, lasting behavioural change — the Bitework K9 way.

This isn’t just a day of sitting and listening.

🧠 THEORY + PRACTICAL LEARNING
Understand the principles behind behaviour, learning, motivation, arousal, thresholds and effective behaviour modification.

🦮 HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE
Get practical experience handling and managing dogs presenting a range of behavioural difficulties.

🛠️ BUILD YOUR TOOLBOX
Learn how to assess situations, choose appropriate strategies and adapt your approach to the individual dog in front of you.

The focus is on practical skills that can be taken away and applied in real-world working environments.

KRANK

Another trial for the old boy and another demonstration of how unbelievably solid this dog is!

17 competitors entered Gold class at the 11th annual AVD E.V event.

7 pulled out from the class after watching what it entailed.

Out of the 10 remaining dogs we placed 8th even though we only attempted 2 of the 4 stations.

Krank came to me early December, initially just temporarily but by February I’d absolutely fallen in love with the dog and made the commitment to keep him permanently.

Hopefully this will be the year we finally get to see some baby Kranks on the ground 🤞🏻

Big thank you to everyone who’s helped, trained & supported Krank since he’s been with me. 🙏🏻

Baddest dog in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Definitely up there with the best in the U.K. 🇬🇧

THIS is how you advocate for your breed!

Stating an XL Bully is no more dangerous than a Labrador or Chihuahua is the dumbest s**t I’ve ever heard.

You discredit yourselves as dog owners when you make statements like that.

The XL Bully is a heavy, athletic and driven animal.

They DO NOT do well in environments where they’ll be left all day unchecked.

They WILL become a problem if you try treating them like your nanas fat blue Staffy.

“Oh but it’s ok I’ll just walk mine 5 times a day” - you’ll then make your dog MORE athletic, MORE powerful and MORE capable.

Owning high drive dogs doesn’t mean you need to walk them more!

They need SOLID structure, STRICT routine, DAILY training and COMMITTED owners.

I don’t care who I upset - BULLYS DO NOT MAKE GOOD ‘PET DOGS’!

When I say that I mean stereotypical pet homes - I’m sure some of you reading this are already annoyed because you’ve read this far and said to yourselves “oh but I do all of what you mentioned” - COOL - then you’re NOT an average pet home!

99% of pet homes (and this is no exaggeration) give their dogs zero structure, zero training and let them do what the hell they please in the name of ‘love’ and that’s where working and power breeds fail miserably.

Shout out the 1%

To the 99 sort your s**t out and drop your egos - dogs are dying because you should never have considered them in your homes.

To those burying their heads, making excuses and stupid comparisons- be ashamed of yourself and know that the way you’re pushing your own agenda is wrong.

I’ll forever tell pet homes to avoid Shepherds, Herders and Malinois to keep my breed safe and away from any ban lists - THAT is how I advocate for my breed.

No mastiff or bull breed was ‘designed’ to be a family pet so how the hell will mixing those breeds produce family pets?

Saying ‘Bully’s were bred to be family companions’ is no different from other lies such as ‘Staffies are nanny dogs’

The difference between an opinion and a fact is that a fact is backed up by evidence whereas an opinion is a singular or collective agreement based off emotion.

Weight pulled - 513 lbs
Body % - 8.52
WP1 achieved 🏆

Day Two - 60lbs class

3rd place 🥉

Weight pulled - 595 lbs
Body % - 9.73

To give you an idea of how close we were - you have to pull a body percentage of 10 twice to achieve your WP2 - next time we’ll get that too!

Me & Shotty didn’t exactly pull the weight the ‘conventional’ way - we’d never prepped for it - he’s never even worn a harness so I know the ability is there we just have to train and refine our technique and find a way to get him to stop treating the sport as a crazy tie back test 🤣

Happy with the result but above all I’m just happy to support a great bunch of people who supported me in my own time of need!

A further congratulations to two clients of mine who achieved their WP2’s and absolutely did me, theirselves and their dogs proud - thank you to both & for letting me be part of your dogs journeys 🙏🏻

And I can’t forget and on their awesome performances with equally awesome dogs!

Last but certainly not least - shout out to Mercedes of for teaming up with me to provide a venue for Gucci & the gang - watch this space - combined we’ll be putting Wales on the map 🤫 👀

I’m pleased & excited to announce that our first seminar/workshop has now got a date and a trainer!

Andrejus from Miracle k9 Academy has agreed to come down to our facility and hold a day packed full of learning, demonstrations and practice!

Not only is Andrejus a passionate and enthusiastic trainer with a great skill set and some really cool concepts but he’s also currently competing in the sport PSA and has recently achieved his PSA1 title with his dog Onyx.

If you would like to expand your own skill set, get some great advice and education from a great trainer with results that reflect his abilities then book your seat now while there’s still some available!

It’s going to be an 8 hour day with food and refreshments provided.
There will be demo dogs of all ages and backgrounds for you to meet and get hands on with.

The cost of the day is ONLY £100 and there are just 10 seats available.
