Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike Done! Really pleased with our time I was hoping for under 8 hours but thought it was optimistic given the lack of training in the last 8 weeks. But we smashed it in under 7hrs 30mins.

Neil and I have taken on the challenge of the Mighty Hike on 5th of July. A marathon walk around the hilly Jurassic Coast, in aid of Macmillan Nurses. Any donations greatly received.

Training hasn’t quite gone to plan over the last 6 weeks but hopefully my legs will hold up to it! We did manage an unconventional training walk to the cliff top for a pint and glass of wine tonight - I can manage that one handed!

Freddie and Hamish have had a lovely holiday, Hamish’s highlight was endless openings of the dishwasher, and Freddie was loving Tara’s bed!

Jenny Annabel and I are walking 26 miles from Sandbanks to Lymington on 18th May for Oakhaven Hospice.

In the last year I’ve seen how important Oakhaven has been to families I’ve have been close to in the local area. Although my Mum wasn’t under Oakhaven her local hospice could not have been kinder to me when I needed it.
