Lorraine is a qualified Masterson Method® Certified Practitioner, as well as many other bodywork modalities. Treatments cost £50 for an hour and a half.

An AlignmentHORSE coach (biomechanics coaching for horses). Stocking Simple System feeds, Global Herbs & HorseStraightsDirect herbs. Equine Masterson Method®, Tucker Biokinetic Therapy, fascia work and red light therapy.

I made the most of the Spring weather and did some Masterson Method Bladder Meridian technique with Evie. I only have my hand very lightly touching one place on her neck but you can see the nervous system processing, then the fidget before the release.
It is such a fabulous method as it works with the horse so they can release very deep tension within.

What is the first thing you do in the year of the Fire Horse - use your horses to teach people!

Today Helen Gilbert Equine & Canine Massage Therapist - Dorset came to have a go at alignment in movement with a couple of my horses that have been learning this for a while. I did throw her in the deep end a bit, but Helen worked really well with them and could see and feel the changes as they progressed.

I love being able to help horses, and this is a great way of really listening to them.

I was also pleased today to see that the horses really understand how it feels to move in alignment. One of my horses corrected herself on the circle as she knew what would feel better, which was great to see.

We just about dodged the ‘January showers’ this weekend, as I gave a client a lesson using two of my horses/ponies.

My client wanted to understand what it felt like to teach/coach a horse alignment during motion, as she is starting to teach this to her own horse.

My horses were good instructors and they worked well with my client. The fantastic square halt from Zebedee (last photo) shows that he was working in alignment and therefore the communication between pony-human was perfect. I was so impressed with my client as she picked up the process really quickly. 😊

I took advantage of a quiet week and did some Masterson Method bodywork on my older pony. I was really pleased with the way he was standing at the end, as I didn’t move him into the square position.

After 24 hours off moving around the track, the next day I helped him with his alignment during movement and he worked hard in walk, trot and canter.

He is a very special pony who has worked hard all his life but actually loves being active still and enjoys teaching people how to help their horses with alignment during motion. 😍👍🏻🐴

👀 Price Increase 💷:

Just to let all of my customers know that Simple System is increasing the price of their products slightly from November 1st.

Haycare will be going up from £20.35 to £21.25
Sainfoin Pellets will be going up from £23.95 to £24.75

This is only a small increase but if you wish to take advantage of the current price, then please order and collect this week.

Also, I will be away from next weekend so if you want to collect/order any herbs, then try and do that this week, although I will have someone here to ship out parcels whilst I am away.

We had a great Whole Horse Clinic in the New Forest yesterday with The Osteopathic Vet (Tom), Connected Naturally (Fiona), Inside-Out Hoofcare (Mark) and me, all working together to help horses in a holistic way.

This was followed by a talk in the evening at The Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy, with Tom and I discussing what to look for in your horses that might indicate health/performance issues. It was a great interactive session and hopefully gave horse owners and professionals more indicators to look at, both statically and in movement.

We had a glorious day yesterday for my AlignmentHORSE demo with two of my gang being the perfect demonstrators.

I think everyone that came learnt a lot about how each horse can progress and the subtleties involved in teaching your horse. I can’t wait to help them a bit more with their journeys, whether from an owner or professional perspective.

I will be giving an interactive talk on Monday using photos and videos of various horses so horse owners/equine professionals can look for warning signs that the horse might be struggling to undertake what we ask of them.
