Coming out of my hermit house because I still can’t believe we are hearing this misogynistic BULLsh*t in 2026.

I’d actually like to challenge this man who said it to come and see if he can handle my 600kg ex racehorse like I can 🫢

Women, you are all amazing.

I thought I’d feel confident bringing a rescue dog home.

Instead, I’ve felt doubt about myself and my abilities, pressure, and a level of overthinking I honestly didn’t expect.

I’ve questioned whether I’ve done the right thing.
I’ve worried about the impact on Loki.
Imposter syndrome has reared its big ugly head.

It’s strange feeling this way when you’re the person others come to for help

But this is my reality & it’s not something I see spoken about enough.

Dog trainers can struggle too and it’s ok to admit that. It doesn’t make you any worse at your job.

I’m really lucky to have friends who’ve reassured me and held my hand through it. ( & you guys are the best ily 🩷)

Rescuing isn’t just rewarding, it can be so emotionally heavy too.

If you’ve ever felt like this after bringing a dog home, you’re not alone. I see you 🤍

For clarity, we love Diva. She isn’t going anywhere. She’s home and our family.

Realistically she isn’t throwing anything at me I haven’t seen professionally, but working with and living with are two completely different sides of the coin.

She’s a young bull herder on her 7th/8th home at just two years old.
She’s already had a litter of puppies, and gone from a quiet environment to a much busier one.

That’s a huge adjustment…and honestly, she’s doing remarkably well.

If anything, I’m the one putting too much pressure on both of us.
And that’s not fair.

But we’ll get there… one step at a time ❤️

I hope everyone had the loveliest Bank Holiday weekend with their 4 legged best mates ❤️

Just a reminder that these are our upcoming classes 👇

If you'd like a slot please comment/message me as I will be sending all the admin stuff out over the next couple of days prior to our starting dates!

I have some names down but as I decided to change the dates due to stupid timing on my behalf, I've lost the post where everyone commented what they wanted to do 🫣

Can't wait to see you all and your lovely dogs!

3 things I’d do if I wanted my dog to become reactive 👇

1. Let them greet every dog they see
2. Ignore potential pain or health issues
3. Overlook their daily needs

The truth is, most reactivity doesn’t come out of nowhere.

It’s often built through frustration, discomfort, or unmet needs over time.

Your dog’s behaviour is communication…not “bad behaviour”.

If you’re struggling with reactivity, take a step back and look at the full picture
Are they in pain?
Are they overwhelmed?
Are their needs actually being met?

If you’ve checked all the above and still struggling with your dogs reactivity, DM us HELP and we can have a chat ❤️

‼️ CLASSES DATES REVISION ‼️

As I didn't even think about Easter and lots of people being away, I figured it would be easier to delay the dates that we start so everyone can (hopefully) make it!

Please comment below which class you'd like to join & I will PM you. If the class is full and we have enough interest I will run some more to accommodate.

Can't wait to see you all and your amazing dogs!

⚠️Your dog MUST be ok being left in the car for man trailing & the scentwork classes, as we will need you to be trail layers for your fellow students ⚠️

I’ve had this audio saved for ages…now I can finally use it 😂

I honestly feel so safe now since we bought Diva home. People used to cross the road to come over to Loki, now they see us coming and walk the other way.

It’s a scary world & being a woman who’s a lone worker I’ve always had to be extra vigilant when it’s just me and Loki, now I don’t have to worry as much especially when it’s dark out.

Scary dog privilege 🤘🏻

Thank you everyone for your interest in classes, we are basically fully booked already, a couple of slots left in the man trailing & scent-work. Dates will be coming very soon, keep your eyes peeled!

So this post is for those who are interested in the Good Dog Club…

Please can you comment below (or you can PM us) some goals you have or things you’d like to work on with your dog that you’d like to see in classes ⬇️

I of course have class plans in mind, but I’d also really like for you all to be getting the most out of this that you can & to achieve the goals that you personally have for your dog.
After all, our journeys are all different and everyone has different goals so I’d like you all to feel seen in the classes 🥰

Loki for tax!
