🐍✨ Happy World Snake Day from all of us at Small World Reptiles! ✨🐍
Today, we’re celebrating some of the world’s most fascinating—and most misunderstood—animals. From the gentle Corn Snake to the stunning Royal Python, snakes are intelligent, beautiful, and incredibly rewarding pets for the right keeper.
Did you know?
👅 They “smell” with their tongues – Snakes use their forked tongues to collect scent particles, which are analyzed by their Jacobson’s organ. This allows them to navigate their surroundings with incredible precision!
🌿 They’re wonderfully low-maintenance – Once their heating, humidity, and enclosure are set up correctly, many snake species are straightforward to care for and fit beautifully into busy lifestyles.
💚 Every snake has its own personality – While often thought of as simple animals, many snakes develop distinct behaviors and routines. With patient, respectful handling, they can become highly confident and inquisitive pets.
Whether you’re an experienced reptile keeper or thinking about owning your very first snake, our friendly team is always here to offer honest advice and help you choose the right setup. Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do, and we stock everything you need to give your pet the best possible start.
