Bit of a different post but I have a little side quest business doing taxidermy and will be running classes with a friend from April where we teach everything from start to finish in taxidermying a mouse and you get to take your finished piece home with you. I absolutely know it's not for everyone but I'd appreciate it so so much if you could let anyone who you think might be interested know about it.

A little behind-the-scenes moment I thought I'd share. I often post photos of dogs posed beautifully on the grooming table — but the reality is, many of the dogs I groom can’t go on a table at all or their grooms are more for welfare than vanity. Some have medical conditions, some are working through trauma, some struggle with fear or behaviour challenges. Some need muzzles or carefully thought-out plans to keep everyone safe and comfortable. I am so passionate about making grooming as positive an experience as possible.
Today I groomed beautiful Serena. No table, no restraints, no forcing. Just us sat together on the floor with some classical music on.
She didn’t have a bath this time, but she was gently brushed and trimmed. She sat beautifully, even nudging my hand for more fuss which meant so much to me. She was calm throughout, and I felt so honoured to gain her trust and give her a peaceful experience.
This is what matters most to me — not just how they look when they leave, but how they feel while they’re here, it's not all about making dogs pretty, a lot is just making them comfortable

Beautiful Ruby 🩷 an absolute angel, she's been through things of nightmares but has now landed on her feet, will know nothing but love, cuddles and a comfy sofa. It honestly amazes me how trusting dogs can be after people have done awful things to them, Ruby had a full groom and even though it's probably the first groom she's ever had she was so gentle throughout, such a superstar
