Looking for recommendations, help ..

Does anyone know a gas safe engineer that could turn the gas back on in the shop ?

Long story short there was a small leak at the meter so the gas was disconnected, the meter has now been replaced by the gas supplier by two gas safe engineers, but and I quote “our gas safe engineers don’t reconnect supply, so you will need to find a gas safe engineer”

Anyway someone was meant to be contacting me to do it tonight but they haven’t reached out. So the gas is still off.

Anybody know someone? or do we have a gas safe engineer on the page that could help.

Just a little update..

As you may or may not be aware in 2020 I started the “sleeper path market” this was done to bring much needed footfall to the local businesses in the area, myself, the Woodyard, the community gardens and the local bakery, the original idea was that eventually the stalls would pay a small table fee and that money would be put back into the sleeper path area to improve it for everyone to use.

A lovely lady called Andrea Gitsham ran with this market for the next few years and really made it successful, a real community project doing everything we hoped it would, she spent a huge amount of time making sure that the market was future proof and we could continue with our little community project, and it was a really lovely little market and a great place to be, lots of community support and a lovely atmosphere that only outdoor markets seems to have. Andrea gave up her place on the committee about 18 months ago ..

Unfortunately for us the decision has been taken by the committee that the market was to be moved to Huntington bowling club as that is what stall holders wanted with the guarantees this affords on weather etc.

However this is very sad for our little community, so i would like to ask all my wonderful customers who support the market anyway every month to please nip up the road and support the local businesses as well.

Our lovely Charlotte is moving on to the next stage in her life and starting university shortly , we are therefore looking for someone to take over her Saturday shift

This can be a pretty busy place to work at times so confidence is a must, as is a happy, chatty polite and confident attitude towards customers and a love of dogs is absolutely essential,
