I've got some exciting news to share!

Tomorrow, Wednesday 14th October, I'll be joining Graham King on the Drive Show at LCR FM 103.6! 🎉

I'll be chatting about No Reins CIC, the journey behind it, and the incredible ways horses can help people build confidence, overcome challenges and improve their emotional wellbeing. 🐴❤️

It's a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of the work we do, the people we support and, of course, the amazing horses who make it all possible.

I'm a little nervous, but incredibly excited to share our story!

Lovely review received this week! Watching this young man's confidence grow has been an absolute pleasure 😁🐴

"Eric has been coming to No Reins to help his fear of animals. He was unfortunately bitten by a dog in the face a couple of years ago and since been terrified of any animals.

Lucy and the ponies have been extremely supportive and patient with him and I've seen a massive improvement with only a few sessions. Highly recommend for any child struggling with a fear of animals."

It's so important to me personally that anyone with a fear of horses can start to really see and understand them. 🤠

Just like our young people all behaviour is feedback, and often the story behind the 'bad' behaviour will break your heart. 💖🐴

🐴💕 Little moments, big achievements at No Reins CIC! 💕

Sometimes the simplest activities can offer the biggest opportunities for growth. 🌿

Our 6-Week Equine-Assisted Programme is about so much more than spending time with ponies.

Take grooming and mane plaiting, for example. 🐴

What might look like a simple, enjoyable activity actually provides opportunities to develop important life skills.

🌟 Patience and perseverance – learning to manage frustration when things don't go to plan.

💚 Emotional regulation – using calm, repetitive activities to encourage relaxation and focus.

🐴 Empathy and awareness – recognising the pony's body language, respecting boundaries and responding to their needs.

🌈 Confidence and self-esteem – experiencing a sense of achievement, independence and pride.

And sometimes, it's not about the finished plait at all. It's about the little moments of learning that happen along the way. ❤️

✨ Our 6-Week Equine-Assisted Programme includes:

🐴 Six weekly, one-hour individual sessions
🌿 Groundwork-based activities – no riding involved
💚 Sessions tailored to each young person's individual needs and goals
🌟 Opportunities to build confidence, emotional resilience and social skills

£360 for the full six-week programme.

No previous horse experience is necessary.

We welcome private bookings, school referrals and professional referrals.

🦷🐴 Dentist Day at No Reins! 🐴🦷

Today was all about keeping those pony smiles healthy! 😁❤️

Our lovely herd had a visit from the equine dentist for their routine dental checks.

Just like us, horses and ponies need regular dental care to keep their teeth in good condition, help them eat comfortably and prevent any problems before they develop.

Looking after our ponies' health and wellbeing is always a top priority here at No Reins. After all, they work so hard bringing smiles to everyone else's faces, it's only right we look after theirs! ❤️🐴

There’s something very special about a horse who chooses to come over and quietly check in with you. 🖤

No headcollar. No lead rope. No asking anything of her. Just her choice to come and say hello.

These are the little moments I love most — and exactly why horses are such incredible partners in the work we do at No Reins.

Connection doesn’t always need words. Sometimes it’s simply being present, giving them the space to make their own choices, and seeing what happens. 🐴

🚨 THUNDER PANTS TRAINING DAY! 💩🐴

The boys have been getting some very important training today in preparation for a visit out at the end of the month… wearing their Thunder Pants! 😂

And I’m delighted to report that BOTH boys pooed in them! 💩💩

Never thought I’d be quite so pleased to see that happen, but this is exactly what we needed. 😂🙌

Thunder Pants: officially tested and approved! ✅🐴

One step closer to being ready for their visit. ❤️

No personal space. No boundaries. Just noses, opinions and a complete inability to mind their own business. 🤣

Wouldn’t have them any other way though. ❤️

After a lovely week away, it’s good to be back at No Reins — and what a beautiful day to return to! 💛

The sun is shining, the ponies are enjoying the gorgeous weather, and we’re ready to get back to doing what we love.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again over the coming weeks. 🐴☀️

We’ve finally managed to persuade the human to put the poo picker down and take a holiday! 😂

She’s away until 26th September, so replies may be a little slower than usual.

Don’t worry — we’re staying home, being thoroughly spoiled and enjoying a well-earned break from therapy duties. 🐴🌿

Normal No Reins chaos will resume when she’s back! 🤎
