‼️ Equine Influenza & Strangles ‼️

We have decided to withhold any clipping & grooming services during the next few weeks whilst Equine Influenza and Strangles is in pretty much most of the areas we cover and is rapidly spreading.
As you are all well aware my girl is at the front of our priorities along with our entire yard and her herd.

We hope everyone who has been affected by this a rapid recovery and we look forward to seeing you all again shortly.

‼️EQUINE INFLUENZA‼️

Due to a rise in Equine Influenza in the area, as a precaution I will be asking for proof of up to date vaccinations, and if they are showing ANY signs of it before any booking is made. As you all know I have my own girly and the yard I’m on to think about, and it is absolutely paramount to me that both she and her herd are kept safe.

Signs of equine influenza can be any of the following :-

🐴Fever: Often very high (39-41°C) in the first 1-5 days
🐴Cough: Frequent, harsh, and dry.
🐴Nasal Discharge: Initially watery, turning thick, yellow, or green.
🐴Lethargy & Depression: Marked tiredness and reduced performance.
🐴Appetite Loss: Reluctance to eat.
🐴Respiratory Distress: Increased respiratory rate, wheezing, or "gagging" when eating.
🐴Swollen Glands: Enlarged lymph nodes under or around the jaw.
🐴Muscle Soreness: Reluctance to move or stiffness.
