We’re delighted to be sponsored by

A massive thank you to Textures Flooring for their incredibly generous sponsorship. We truly appreciate their support and belief in what we do here at Chatheroe Dog Training.

Thanks to their backing, we’ve been able to invest in a air and go LITE remote launcher from a fantastic piece of kit that will become a core part of our programme. It will feature across our advanced sessions, gundog weekends, and specialist workshops, supporting work in retrieving skills, marking, distance work, and so much more.

It means the world to have a local business stand with us like this. We highly recommend Textures Flooring for stunning quality flooring and brilliant service. Please do give them a follow and show your support.

Our recent simulated shoot day, hosted by alongside and beautifully captured by , was everything we could have hoped for. The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish, every gun enjoyed their time on the pegs and everyone did exceptionally well. Handlers and dogs alike worked so well together, picking dummies as carefully and keenly as if they were birds, settling into their rhythm and putting in wonderful practice as they ready themselves for the season ahead. It was a brilliant day shared in good company, and we could not be more eager for what the coming months will bring.

Introducing the second part of our collaboration with ...The Roe Collection.

After many conversations about how best to capture the Chatheroe spirit, we landed on this beautifully understated design. Inspired by the soft, warm coat of the roe deer, it’s a smooth, subtle brown that feels both classic and effortlessly rural.

Strong, practical, and crafted to stand up to all kinds of weather and terrain. Ideal for training, out working in the field, and everyday adventures across the Cotswolds and beyond.

Two collections, both named to honour the landscape and wildlife right here on our doorstep.

We’re so pleased to finally introduce our first collaborative collection with something we’ve been planning and refining for quite some time.

We wanted every detail to truly reflect the heart of Chatheroe and our love for the countryside, the Cotswolds, and that timeless rural style as well as our commitment to supporting a small business.

The Fallow Collection...a rich brown rope woven with soft white flecks, just like the coat of a fallow deer. Tough, reliable, and perfectly suited for walks, training, and days out in the fields.

Handmade quality, built to last, and designed to look right at home in the countryside we love.

SIMULATED SHOOT DAY WITH DOG TRAINING 🐾

*Due to the priority booking window offered to our members, all handler spaces have now been filled. A waiting list is in operation and we will contact those on the list should any places become available.

Chatheroe Dog Training in collaboration with will be hosting a simulated shoot day on August 1st 2026 in Ducklington. This event is crafted to reflect the rhythm, atmosphere, and expectation of a traditional shoot while remaining a controlled and considered environment for both dog and handler.

This day is designed with purpose. It is an opportunity to work dogs in a realistic setting, without unnecessary pressure, allowing them to gain valuable experience, confidence, and understanding.

Please note, this day is intended for more advanced handlers and dogs (picking up NOT beating). Attendees should already be working or preparing to do so in the coming season. There will be no availability for peg dogs on this occasion, as we intend to host dedicated days for that purpose in the future.

With temperatures set to rise, the welfare of our dogs remains our highest priority.

To help keep dogs comfortable and safe, we will be offering additional early morning and late evening training appointments throughout next week, making the most of the cooler parts of the day.

As a reminder, try to avoid exercising dogs during the hottest hours, ensure fresh water is always available, make use of shaded areas where possible, and remember that mental stimulation can be just as valuable as physical exercise during warmer weather.

If you'd like to book an early morning or evening session, please get in touch to discuss availability.
