Malthouse Vets in Narberth Pembrokeshire are a small and friendly companion animal Vets. We have a passion for providing patients and owners with outstanding clinical care and support. Bron is our experienced veterinary surgeon and along with her small team provide immediate care for sick and injured pets, provide routine clinics and check-ups whilst always there as a key point of contact for pet owners.

Today we’re celebrating 9 wonderful years of Malthouse Vets 💜🐾

What started as a dream has grown into a busy, caring practice filled with an incredible team, wonderful clients, and so many beloved pets who have become part of the Malthouse family over the years.

There have been long days, emotional days, chaotic days, emergency surgeries, cake, puppy cuddles, kitten snuggles, tears, laughter, birthdays, weddings, babies, cake, endless cups of coffee and tea, and did we mention cake… and we wouldn’t change it for the world.

We are so incredibly grateful to every single client who has trusted us with their animals over the last 9 years. Your support has allowed us to continue doing what we love most — caring for pets and the people who love them.

And to our amazing team — thank you for your hard work, kindness, humour, compassion and dedication every single day. Malthouse simply wouldn’t be what it is without you all 💜

All-inclusive prices—ranging from £300 to £900—depending on your pet’s size and the lump’s size. This includes surgery, histology, pain relief, routine aftercare - no hidden extras.

Optional add-ons: Bloods at £100 (normally £151), and fluids at £50 (normally £91).

This package is discounted by over £90. Additional lumps £50 each.

We weren’t fooling around this April 1st… 🐶✨

On April Fools’ Day, our team welcomed a very special (and very big!) patient — a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog cross who needed a C-section to safely deliver her puppies.

With a full theatre team ready, lots of careful planning, and plenty of teamwork, we successfully delivered 8 gorgeous, healthy pups 💛🐾

Mum did brilliantly throughout, and it’s always such a privilege to be part of these moments — supporting both mum and her babies right from their very first breaths.

A huge well done to our clinical team for their calm, skilled work, and thank you to the lovely owners for trusting us with such an important day.

No pranks here… just new life and wagging tails 🐾

We’ve put together a Spring Health MOT for your pets — just a really good overall check to catch anything early, especially as they get a bit older.
It’s a nurse appointment and includes:
– a full health check
– weight & body condition
– blood pressure
– and a comprehensive blood test screening
Everything is then reviewed by one of us vets and we’ll be in touch if there’s anything we’d want to look into further.
We’re offering it at £79 for April as we’d really love more pets getting these done preventatively rather than waiting until something is wrong.
It’s probably most useful for pets 5+, but happy to chat if you’re not sure.
We’ll keep numbers limited so we can do them properly — just give us a call or message to book
