A good deshed is about more than just getting rid of the hair you can see… blowing the coat out helps get rid of all that loose, dead undercoat that’s sitting underneath. If it’s left to build up, it can become compacted and make it harder for the skin to breathe properly.

It also means I can get a much better look at the skin and coat and make sure everything is looking as it should.

And obviously… less hair all over your house is always a bonus 😂

If your dog is due a deshed, drop me a message to get booked in.

Little Riley 🥹🤍

When I first met Riley a few appointments ago, she was quite nervous about being groomed. We’ve taken everything really slowly, letting her have breaks and even letting Mum comfort her when she needed it.

Fast forward to now and look at her! 🥹 She’s become such a confident little girl and is doing so well with her grooms.

😍🤍 So proud of you, Riley!

Driving home tonight, I found myself reflecting on the past few months and just how many amazing people and dogs I’ve met along the way. I honestly couldn’t be more touched by all the kindness I’ve been shown.

Every single one of my clients has been so lovely, chatty and supportive. It’s so nice to have people who take the time to have a proper chat, ask how I’m doing and show an interest in me as well as their dogs. I don’t feel like I’m just the dog groomer — everyone has made me feel so welcome, and I can’t explain how lovely that is.

From those who comment on my posts and support my little business, to the people I get to see every day, you’ve all been so kind.

I feel so, so grateful for this business of mine and the people it brings into my life. I’ve never felt so in place before, and that’s something really special.

So if you’re reading this, thank you. Whether you’re a client, a supporter or someone I’ve crossed paths with recently, you’ve made these past few months extra special ❤️
