🐾 What a day at Audlem Dog Show! 🐾

The forecast threatened rain… but somehow it held off! 🙌🌥️

There were dogs EVERYWHERE 🐶, lots of familiar faces ❤️ and Steve had the almost impossible job of judging them all! 🏆😂

We had such a lovely day chatting to everyone, making a ridiculous number of new four-legged friends and being part of another brilliant local event.

Thank you Audlem for having Team Phoenix — we loved it! 💕

And congratulations to all the winners… although we’d have happily given every single dog a rosette. 🥹🐾

💊 A little prescription reminder! 💊

If possible, please allow us 48 hours for prescription requests. For those clients with patients on regular medication, please contact us before your medication has run out.

This also applies to parasite prevention, such as flea and worm treatments, as these are prescription-only medicines. 🐾 Giving us a little extra notice helps us make sure we have sufficient stock available for you.

As always, a huge thank you for keeping us so busy! 💕

Charlie’s surprise surgery! 🐾

Meet Charlie, the lovely 12-year-old Labradoodle.

Charlie came in for a check-up for a completely different concern but on his clinical exam Sarah discovered a mass in his abdomen. A few days later after the appropriate diagnostics undertaken first, Charlie underwent surgery; which revealed an impressive 10cm mass in the mid-jejunum.

What makes this even more remarkable is that Charlie had shown no clinical signs at all! 😮

We’ll save you from the gory surgical photos and instead share this lovely photo of Charlie post-op, looking very pleased with himself waiting for treats and doing amazingly well! 🥰

Well done, Charlie!

Pip & Honey 🍯

Sweet Pip popped back in for her post op check after her spay. While she was here, we took the opportunity to make her visit a really positive one. 🥰

Alongside checking that she was healing beautifully, Pip enjoyed some tasty treats, plenty of fuss and a little mini socialisation session to help her feel more comfortable and confident around her vets. 🐶🩷

Luckily, Pip had her little sister Honey there to give her a helping paw! 🐾 Honey’s confidence seemed to rub off on Pip, helping her relax, explore and realise that a trip to the vets can mean lots of lovely things too.

We think these two make the sweetest team💕

Wow! We’ve been absolutely blown away by your incredible generosity with donations of blankets and towels! 💕 We’re now fully stocked—with what feels like a whole year’s worth! 🤩

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to donate and support us. Your kindness means so much to us and, of course, to all the dogs in our care. 🐶❤️

Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🥰

✨ Bladder Stones Be Gone! 🪄✨

Little Dee Dee, the 10-year-old Pug, came to see us initially showing signs of a urinary tract infection. When we scanned her bladder, two bladder stones shone like stars on the ultrasound! ⭐️⭐️

As Dee Dee is a foster, her care is supported by the Pug Dog Welfare & Rescue charity, who help make sure she gets everything she needs. 💛

Dee Dee was initially treated for her infection and returned a few days later to have her bladder stones removed via cystotomy.

From the moment she arrived, Dee Dee stole all of our hearts! 🥹 She was the sweetest little Pug and such a wonderfully well-behaved patient.

You can follow Dee Dee’s journey through the photos — from those stones sparkling away on ultrasound, to Dee Dee receiving pre-oxygenation before her procedure due to being brachycephalic, and finally to the significant-sized stones that were retrieved. 🪄⭐️

Dee Dee recovered beautifully and was the perfect patient from start to finish. She headed home with her very own Phoenix recovery pack, and we’re delighted to say she has been doing so well since. 🥰

Well done, Dee Dee! ⭐️🐝💛

✨ Happy Friday from Team Phoenix! ✨

We have been so wonderfully busy recently with all of our lovely clients & patients that our socials have had to take a little bit of a back seat for a second! 🙈

But we’ve got lots of lovely things to share with you over the next few weeks, from some of our incredibly brave patients and their journeys, to introducing a new member of the team 👀 and all the little bits and pieces happening behind the scenes. 🐾

For now here’s little Bertie waiting patiently for one more treat. 🥰

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
