Phoenix Vet Practice New independent vets in Nantwich. Friendly team + our own out-of-hours care. NOW OPEN!!🎉🎉🎉

🔥 Phoenix has officially risen… and we’re just getting started! 🔥

It has been an amazing few weeks welcoming our very first patients through the doors (well… the portakabin doors for now! 😆🐾).

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, registered with us, visited us, recommended us and cheered us on while we’ve navigated the final stages of our build. The response from our wonderful community has honestly blown us away ❤️

Our temporary home is working brilliantly — the team are settled in, tails are wagging, cats are exploring, treats are being eaten (mainly by the patients… 👀) and we’re already providing the friendly, independent care we set out to create.

But… the really exciting bit is coming…

🏥✨ Our permanent practice is getting closer every day! ✨🏥

The finishing touches are happening behind the scenes and, all being well, we should be moving into our brand new building in the next 2–3 weeks!

We cannot wait to show you what we’ve been working so hard to create — a practice designed around our patients, our clients and our team from the very beginning.

Keep watching this space because we’ll be sharing some more sneak peeks very soon… 👀

And just in case anyone missed the news…

🎉 WE ARE OPEN! 🎉

We’re welcoming new patients and would love to meet you and your pets 🐶🐱🐰🐾

📞 Get in touch or register online — the Phoenix journey has begun, and we’d love you to be part of it ❤️🔥

⚽ It's England match day! 🏆

For many pets, the roar from the living room can be just as frightening as fireworks. If your pet struggles with loud noises, there is a few things you can do to help, creating a calm space away from the match day excitement may help.

Sudden loud sounds can trigger intense fear, anxiety, and stress. During major sporting events, it's important to remember our four-legged family members who may struggle with the noise. They deserve to feel safe when it comes to not understanding the offside rule. ⚽🐕

🏆 This World Cup, let's celebrate responsibly!
🐾 If you're concerned about noise anxiety, don't hesistate to get in touch.

Come on England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️🐾

⭐️ We’re already receiving 5-star reviews, and it’s only the beginning!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us while we continue operating from our temporary cabins. Your patience, kindness, and encouragement mean so much to us, and we can't wait to welcome you into our lovely new building soon.

If you've visited us recently, we'd be incredibly grateful if you could leave us a review on Google or Facebook. Your feedback helps us grow and continue providing the best possible care as a new independent practice.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

When did you last check your pets microchip details? 🔎🐾✅

We wanted to share a recent podcast that Steve has been involved in, discussing 10 years of compulsory dog microchipping in the UK. The conversation explores why microchipping remains so important and the vital role it plays in helping reunite lost pets with their owners.

As we head into the summer months and many families go on holiday, routines can change and pets can sometimes escape, become lost, or stray further from home than usual. A microchip can be the key to getting them safely back where they belong.

A key takeaway from the discussion is that a microchip is only effective if your contact details are kept up to date. If you've moved house or changed your phone number, make sure your pet's records reflect these changes on the microchip database.

While we all hope for those heart warming reunions between pets and their owners, microchips can also provide answers and closure in more difficult circumstances. That's why keeping your details current is such an important part of responsible pet ownership.

It's a great listen for pet owners and veterinary professionals alike! Link Below

JASMINE🌸🐾🩷

We had the pleasure of welcoming little Jasmine, aka Jazzy, to Phoenix Vets for her pre-registration health check ahead of her 2nd vaccination in a few weeks' time and she was an absolute star! 🌟

Vaccinations are a vital part of giving puppies the best start in life, helping to protect them from serious infectious diseases while they grow, learn, and explore the world around them.

Not only is it important to vaccinate but to also ensure puppies are well socialised! Our nurses can't wait to start running socialisation clinics for dogs of all ages, helping them build confidence, enjoy positive experiences at the practice, and get to know our veterinary team in a relaxed environment.

🚑🩺Our Out of Hours Care 🚑🩺

When your pet needs urgent care outside of our normal opening hours, it can be a stressful time. That’s why at Phoenix Vets we’re proud to provide our own dedicated out-of-hours service 🚑☎️🩺🐾

We understand that out-of-hours care can sometimes leave owners worried whether that’s about costs, deciding if something is truly urgent, or even the thought of waking the vet in the middle of the night.

That’s why we’ve partnered with VidiVet, which all registered Phoenix Vets clients can access completely FREE ♥️

VidiVet is a handy app that gives you unlimited access to qualified veterinary advice 24/7. Including evenings, weekends, and when the practice is closed.

Not only does this help owners get quick reassurance and guidance when they need it, but it also helps protect our vets’ essential rest time after long working days, ensuring they are refreshed and ready to provide the very best care for true emergencies and the patients they see the following day.

And when an emergency really does need hands-on veterinary treatment, our team is still here to provide the urgent care your pet needs.

Whether you need guidance late at night, over the weekend, or during a bank holiday, we’re here to help make sure your pets receive the care they need, when they need it most 🐶🐱

✈️ Travelling abroad with your pet this summer? 🐾

Since the UK left the EU, pets now need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) to travel to most EU countries and Northern Ireland.

An AHC is an official document completed by an authorised vet that confirms your pet:
🐶 Is microchipped
💉 Has a valid rabies vaccination
📋 Meets the legal requirements for travel
⚠️ Important rabies vaccine information:
• If your pet is having their very first rabies vaccine, they cannot travel until at least 21 days afterwards
• If it is a booster vaccination given while already in date, there is no waiting period and they can travel straight away
Animal Health Certificates must usually be completed within 10 days of travel, so it’s important to plan ahead — especially during busy holiday periods!

At Phoenix Vet Practice we are pleased to offer:
✨ £110 for the first pet
✨ £50 for additional pets travelling to the same destination

We can also advise on — and provide — any required anti-parasitic treatments needed for your destination.
Whether you’re planning a beach holiday, road trip or European adventure, we’re here to help make travelling with your pets as stress-free as possible 🧳🐾
