I specialize in starting young horses and re-educating horses with behavioural problems:

- Clipping
- Catching
- Farrier
- Kicking
- Bucking
- Rearing

I work through these problems forming a strong leadership using different techniques from around the world including natural horsemanship, conditioned response training, round pen work and various other method

s depending on what suits that individual horse. If your leadership is right your horse will want to be with you and work for you.

Those words stayed with me and here we are 🤓 My profession is my passion, which I am committed in sharing with those who seek.

Demonstrations/shows are when my horses get to be seen in their own light. Showing our work, the result of the training we do. Our partnership ❤️

Tel is a proud and noble horse. He has power, presence, and a huge character, that I’ve never wanted to take away, rather ‘mould’ it.

Creating a partnership where horse and human understand & empower each other together.
Tel has taught me so much about this.

In our last show we showed bits from the training topics that we cover at Talent of the Horse.
How putting the work in to educate the horse with what he needs to understand our world/society 🤓 (because it’s a long way from his instinctual way of thinking) starts the partnership /journey to go anywhere you want with your disciplines together 🤠

Vicky & Perry ❤️🐴

I want to give a very special mention to Vicky and Perry, who joined me and Tel in the demonstration last weekend.

Vicky is not only a very good friend, but also one of my students — and watching her perform with Perry was something I was genuinely very proud of.

What you saw in the arena was the result of Vicky investing in herself.

She has put time and effort into developing her own handling skills, timing, feel and understanding. Rather than simply asking her horse to learn, she has been willing to learn herself — and that is where real progress starts.

That performance was a reflection of that work.

This is such an important part of what I am trying to build with Talent of the Horse School.

I don’t want to simply teach people what to do with their horses. I want to teach people to understand why, to develop their own skills and awareness, and to become better teachers for their horses.

Because when we improve the human, we change the information the horse receives — and that changes what the horse is able to learn.

So Vicky, I hope you know how proud I am of you. ❤️

You stepped into that arena, performed alongside me and Tel, and showed everyone what can happen when a person invests in their own learning as much as they invest in their horse.

Thank you for trusting me, for putting the work in, and for being brave enough to get out there and show what you have achieved as a horsewomen.

And thank you for being part of something that means so much to me.

Talent of the Horse
🐴 Horsemanship courses

Level 1 introduction to foundation groundwork.
Summer dates now available

Level 1 is a crash course in groundwork and how to be a leader with all horses. Stages 1, 2 & 3 complete this level. Our level one summer dates are as follows:

Stage 1
Saturday 25 July 11am-2pm

Stage 2
Wednesday 22nd July 11am-2pm (existing client, done stage one already)
Saturday 29 August 11am - 2pm

Stage 3
Saturday 5 September 11am - 2pm
Wednesday 9th September 11-2pm

Each 3-hour course includes a classroom-based theory session and a practical session in our all weather, outdoor arena using my own horses at my facility near Nantwich. My horses are specifically trained and give our new clients a chance to experience what we mean by softness and lightness as well as the opportunity to practice new techniques in a safe, controlled environment.

The cost for level 1 is £300, including all three stages. Payment in full is due at point of booking and is non-refundable. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel any of our courses or events, an alternative date will be provided. To book on the course, please contact Kay on WhatsApp on 0741 1046 795. With your selected dates. You will be sent payment and address details.

Existing clients that have already completed one or more stages can be accommodated – please contact Kay accordingly.

Our methods improve partnerships, performance and reliability from clear communication, releasing deep tension for horse and owner. These courses are all about your learning, the theory, and practical all whilst being good fun and confidence building. Suitable for everyone.

Last weekend was our first camp of 2026! I had a fantastic weekend, 🥰🥳🤠 full of laughter, learning and horses! A great group of people, thank you for being so well behaved 😉 and good fun to train all weekend. Well done for achieving your goals and some! I’m so proud of you all, it was lovely to see you all confident and happy on the last ride 🥰👌

Id like to say a huge thank you and well done to all my team 🙌 you each more than done your duties, organising and managing us/horses/dogs & me so beautifully! Thank you 🙏 Laura, Linda, Lyndsey & Becki!

I’m filled with pride from it all 🧡 Campers and their goals, my team, Tels demo, Perry (of course it wouldn’t be camp without a Perry debut) all the horses involved and not involved, the drill ride 🥰and the exceptional food… it was 👌

We are arranging next years dates now so please let us know if you’re currently a student or training here and would like to attend a Toth camp next year.

🌿 Basics in Balance
We explore posture, balance and suppleness.

Saturday 11th April 12-1pm

Teaching horses to release through the body, lift through the back, soften over the shoulders and find balance through gentle, guided stretches.

Each movement is tailored to the horse in front of us — whether that’s a back lift, a shoulder extension, or a quiet moment of grounding. It’s all about awareness, alignment, and balance.
