The people who keep tails wagging, paws playing and cuddles flowing every single day…

🐾 Lynn – Owner
Founded The Dog Den in 2022.
Fun fact: Lynn has two dachshunds of her own… which might explain why we have so many sausage dogs! 🌭 They’re a wonderfully quirky breed (and yes… a little bit dramatic! 😂).

🐾 Sarah – Manager
With us since day one.
Fun fact: Sarah is a huge Westlife fan and has seen them live 20+ times! 🎤

🐾 Claire – Supervisor
Also part of The Dog Den since day one.
Fun fact: Claire can do the moonwalk… and she’s demonstrated it to us more times than we’d care to admit. 🕺😂

🐾 Lily – Daycare Assistant
Joined the team in 2024.
Fun fact: Lily is studying Marketing at university in Edinburgh. 🎓

🐾 Amy – Daycare Assistant
Joined us at the beginning of this year.
Fun fact: Any synchronised figure skating! 🛼⛸️

We couldn’t do what we do without this amazing team. Thank you for all the love, patience and hard work you put into making The Dog Den feel like a second home for every pup. ❤️🐾

A little look behind the scenes at The Dog Den! 🐾

We often get asked what our indoor daycare looks like, so here’s a peek inside. 💛
Our daycare is designed to be a true home away from home. With ramps, tunnels, toys, enrichment activities and plenty of space to play, there’s always something to keep our dogs happy and engaged. When they’re ready for a rest, they can relax on our sofas or head to one of our dedicated chill-out crates.
Our crates – are never used to confine dogs unless an owner has specifically requested it. They’re open all day, giving dogs the freedom to come and go whenever they fancy a quiet nap.
Throughout the day, our dogs enjoy playing with their friends, relaxing, and simply being dogs in a safe, caring environment. Every dog also enjoys a 20-minute group walk to the fantastic grassy area near our daycare, along with regular toilet breaks throughout the day.
We believe the combination of indoor enrichment and outdoor exercise gives dogs the best of both worlds. Time outside allows them to explore and enjoy fresh air, while coming back indoors helps them settle, recharge and avoid becoming overtired or overstimulated. We find this balance creates happier, calmer dogs who genuinely enjoy their day with us.

Creating a fun, safe and enriching environment where every dog feels loved is what we’re all about. 🧡🐶

What an honour it was to be part of Shannon & Bruce’s special day with the beautiful Nala 🐾🤍

From making her grand entrance down the aisle to posing for photos with her favourite people, Nala was the perfect wedding guest.
We’re so grateful to have been trusted with such an important role and loved being part of these unforgettable memories.

Just a reminder that we’re open on the Bank Holiday Monday. If your dog is booked in, or you’re planning to book, please let us know your expected drop-off and pick-up times so we can adjust our opening hours / staff shifts accordingly with bank holidays being quieter ✌🏻
