The British weather isn’t exactly playing ball today 🌧️😂

Luckily, we’ve got an indoor facility where we can keep working with our dogs whatever the weather. We’ve got heating, air con and most importantly- coffee ☕️

Whether you’re working on reactivity, aggression, obedience or building better habits, the rain doesn’t have to put your progress on hold.

Want to see what we could do for you and your dog?

Major and retrieving = absolute happiness 😂

This is quite literally his favourite thing to do, and he’ll retrieve pretty much anything I ask him to.

One of the most important things in dog training is understanding what makes YOUR dog tick. What motivates them, what they enjoy, and what makes them want to work with you.

There’s no one size fits all approach to dogs, we train the dog in front of us.

Who’d have thought a Rottweiler would enjoy retrieving 😂

Tell us in the comments, what’s your dog’s ultimate obsession?

And if you’re struggling to find what motivates your dog, or you’re dealing with reactivity or behavioural issues, that’s exactly the sort of thing we help with at K9 Control.

📩 Drop us a message if we can help you!

They don’t have to!

The goal isn’t to make your dog love every dog they meet.

It’s to help them feel safe, stay in control and learn to exist around other dogs without feeling the need to react.

Neutrality over friendship any day, and sometimes, learning to mind their own business is the biggest win of all.

Due to the success of our Saturday Socials, we’re now running them EVERY SATURDAY at 10am.

And yes, this is for K9 Control clients only.

If you don’t like people as much as us, but can tolerate them existing in the same field for an hour, you’ll fit right in.

No forced friendships.

No pointless small talk.

No pretending you’re delighted to see everyone.

Just you, your dog, and a group of people you’ve already tolerated through training, working on calm neutrality around dogs and people in a controlled outdoor space.

Your dog learns to cope around distractions.

You avoid making unnecessary new friends.
Perfect.

Come along. Ignore everyone. Train your dog. 👍

Training essential, Sociability optional 😂

There’s a big difference between a dog who has finally run out of energy and a dog who has genuinely learned how to switch off.

Some dogs can spend hours walking, playing and sniffing, then come home and still struggle to relax.

Teaching your dog how to calmly switch off can be incredibly valuable, especially for dogs who are easily overstimulated, constantly on the go or struggle to relax in different environments.

Sometimes your dog doesn’t need more stimulation. They need to learn how to do nothing.

Could your dog settle like this?

This is why we do group classes for reactive dogs - proof it’s possible, not just promised for sometime in the future.

Spaces open in our next class starting in September. Send us a DM if you have any questions!

Anyone can find a dog with drive.

Producing one that's genuinely stable — that's different.

Commitment on the bite and instant release on command.

Back into the next command like nothing happened.

No lingering. No redirecting.

Done.

That's what handler control actually looks like — and it's the only version that's safe to live with.

The flashy stuff gets the views.

This is what matters, owning and teaching a protection dog is not a p***s extension its the greatest responsibility.

If your here for ego, take your midlife crisis to the forecourt and buy a ferrari.

This is what success looks like.

Not managed. Rehabilitated.

Off lead. Reactive dogs. Real results.

This is what the work looks like.

Rehabilitation. Not management.

This is what's possible.

It can happen.

Don't believe it can't be done.

We've done it hundreds of times.

Your dog can do this.

It happened for them. It can happen for you.

Exposure is the cure.

Avoidance is not.

We work with all aggression cases

Fear aggression — reacts from perceived threat, fight response when flight is blocked.

Drive leakage — misdirected prey/play drive, over-arousal spilling into aggression.

Redirected aggression — can't get to the trigger, bites whatever is closest.

Frustration aggression — barrier or lead frustration, threshold breaks into reactivity.

Pain aggression — protective response to discomfort, often misread as temperament.

Possessive/resource aggression — guards food, toys, space, people.

Predatory aggression — silent, focused, no warning, driven by prey drive not emotion.

Territorial aggression — boundary-driven, often location specific.

Inter-dog aggression — same s*x, same household, or generalised dog-dog conflict.
