Sue-Galen Northumberland I am a Registered Galen Myotherapist, helping to prolong the quality of life for all dogs. Veterinary Consent is required prior to any treatment

Galen Myotherapy works on the dogs muscular system where issues are an extremely common and underestimated cause of pain. These issues can manifest themselves in many different ways. The pain can cause stress that will have a negative effect on how the dog functions both physically and psychologically and even seemingly minor issues can adversely affect the long term mobility of our canine companions. Galen Myotherapy can help all dogs from the lame and arthritic through to canine athletes. By easing tension and increasing muscle length, joint function is improved and optimum 'range of movement' is achieved, resulting in improved mobility, performance and a reduction in pain perception.

See you at the weekend 😊

Nearly done on day 3!

People often call us a dog show…but we’re so much more than that.

We’re have-a-go activities, expert advice, incredible arena displays, free training, shopping, food, local clubs, charities and two whole days celebrating everything we love about dogs.

It’s not just a dog show.

We’ve not even managed to fit everything in this photo! Gundog is behind our marquee and over the brow of the hill is more activities and trade!

📅 Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd August
📍 Kirkley Hall, Ponteland
🎟️ www.northeastdogfestival.com

You’ve only got a couple of days left to get hold of early bird tickets to save money on gate prices.

Something exciting is coming…

We are preparing to launch our brand-new prospectus for the Ofqual-regulated GA Level 4 Diploma in Canine Myofascial Rehabilitation.

More than a guide to the qualification, it offers an introduction to the philosophy, knowledge and practical skills that shape every Galen Myotherapist.

Discover how we:

👉 Observe the whole dog
👉Explore the relationship between posture, movement, behaviour and physical comfort
👉Place choice and emotional wellbeing at the heart of treatment
👉 Prepare students for confident, ethical professional practice

If you have ever wondered what it really means to become a Galen Myotherapist, this is where your journey begins.
