Archie's Cat & Kitten Rescue We are a small family run rescue, based in Northumberland. We chose our name in memory of our beautiful springer Archie, friend to 100's of rescue cats.

We will rescue, rehabilitate and re-home all cats in our care to their forever families.

🐾 A little story about Sadie tonight 💕
Sweet little Sadie has had a sad start to life. She was repeatedly put outside by her ‘owner’, who eventually moved away and left her behind. 💔
Despite everything she’s been through, Sadie is such a lovely girl and deserves a chance to know what it feels like to be truly safe and loved.
We think little Sandy could be her kitten, which would make their stories even more special. 🐱
Sadie has an old eye injury, but thankfully it doesn’t need any treatment and she isn’t blind. She might look like a little old lady, perhaps because of the neglect she’s suffered, but don’t let that fool you! She has good teeth, and our vet estimates she’s only around 1–2 years young. ❤️
We think Sadie would love a quiet home where she can relax, feel safe and be thoroughly spoiled. A home where she can finally put her past behind her and embrace her true calling…

🐾 Lucky & Heather’s little update 💕
Lucky and Heather are doing so well! They’re learning to play, eating beautifully and, most importantly, enjoying being safe and cared for. 🥰
Neither of these tiny babies would have stood much chance of surviving if they hadn’t been found. We’ll never know how they ended up all alone, but their confidence around people suggests they were likely abandoned rather than born outside to a stray or feral mum.
Whatever their little story, one thing is certain — they’re safe now, and they have a future to look forward to. ❤️🐾
Thank you to everyone who has followed their journey and sent them so much love. Please keep cheering these little ones on! 💕
Please remember: Lucky and Heather are not available for adoption, and we are not taking applications for them at this stage. They are still tiny babies, and our priority is to get them healthy, happy and well socialised. When the time is right, they will be looking for a home together. 🐾❤️

🐾 A little update on Lucky & Heather 🐾
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments and messages about these two little babies. ❤️ As you can see, they’re already forming the sweetest little friendship! 🥰
This is exactly why we rehome kittens in pairs wherever possible. Having a little friend to play with, learn from and snuggle up to makes such a difference. 🐱🐱💕
Please don’t ask to adopt Lucky and Heather just yet. They’re only 4–5 weeks old, and our priority right now is making sure they grow into happy, healthy, confident and well-socialised little kittens.
They have plenty of growing to do before they’re ready to find their forever home together. For now, we’re just enjoying watching their little friendship blossom. 🏡❤️

🐾 Another busy day at Archie’s Cat & Kitten Rescue! 🐾
Stevie had her dental today and needed 6 teeth removed! 🦷💗 Anyone who has ever needed dental work for their cat knows just how expensive it can be, but we suspect poor Stevie has been in pain, so it was absolutely essential to get her sorted.
Our beautiful tabby girl, Sandy, also had a vet check today. She's around 6–9 months old and, thankfully, isn't pregnant. Had she been left outside much longer, things could have been very different. 💕
Sandy is now booked in for her spay in the coming weeks, so she's one step closer to a safe and happy future.

As you can imagine, our vet bills are mounting up, so we'll be running a scratch card fundraiser this weekend to help towards the costs.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes such a difference to the cats in our care. Thank you all for continuing to support our little rescue. ❤️🐾

Please remember that little Lucky and Heather are only around 4–5 weeks old. They are far too tiny to be thinking about rehoming just yet.
Our priority is to get these precious babies healthy, confident and well socialised, with lots of love and care along the way. 🥰
When they’re ready, Lucky and Heather will be looking for a home together as a pair. For now, they just need time to grow and enjoy being safe. 🐱❤️
