Patient Success Story: Meet Linguini 🐍

Say hello to Linguini, our brave little hognose snake! He came in for an emergency visit after getting stuck in his hide, but thanks to our veterinary surgeon Ammar and some gentle manoeuvring, Linguini was safely freed and is now doing well. We're so happy to see you free and safe, Linguini!

🐾 Patient success story 🐱✨

These photos show the remarkable progress of one of our feline patients who received laser therapy to support wound healing. The improvement was outstanding, and it's wonderful to see how well the wound responded throughout treatment.

Fireworks season is nearly here! 🎃 Now's the perfect time to get your pets prepared so they can feel comfortable and happy. 🐾

Here are some helpful tips you can try at home:

🎆 Try some desensitisation training by gently exposing your pet to different sounds at various volumes, all in a calm and controlled way.
🎆 Make sure to offer distractions like long lasting chews, lick mats, or puzzle feeders to keep them busy.
🎆 Make sure your home is secure by double-checking that all doors and gates are locked, and your pet's microchip details are up to date.
🎆 Create a cosy den with their favourite bedding and familiar smells so they have a safe, quiet spot to relax.
🎆 Try masking the noise with soothing music or turn on the TV to help muffle the sounds from outside.

Welcome Simba and Nala! 🐾

These two superstars came into our Morley branch for a health check with our veterinary surgeon Beyza. 🩺 As you can see, our team enjoyed lots of cuddles with Simba and Nala. Both were very well behaved.

Both kittens are on our Pet Health for Life Plan, which includes the consultations as well as the flea and worming treatment.

Tiny patient alert! 🐀

Ethel attended a re-examination appointment, at Morley, with our veterinary surgeon Kostas due to wheezing when breathing.🩺 Her lovely sister Edna accompanied her for moral support and some extra treats!

Respiratory issues are very common in rats but with a bit of help from some medication, little Ethel will begin to feel better soon. 🐾

Say hello to Winnie! 🐾

Little Winnie attended an appointment at our Morley branch with veterinary surgeon Kostas for a health check. During the examination, Kostas found a little heart murmur, which is why these routine checks are so important to keep our furry friends healthy.

Our team will now keep an eye on this to ensure Winnie continues to be happy and healthy. Her favourite thing to do is eat, so we paid her in treats for staying still when taking her photo. 🐾
