Rodney’s first Friday Training Crew 🐾🧡

Friday was all about getting to know Rodney and finding out what makes him tick! Before we can ask for amazing loose lead walking, we need to discover what Rodney finds rewarding. Is it food? A toy? Praise? Something completely different? 🤔

Mike spent time building that connection, exploring Rodney’s motivation and introducing some loose lead foundations. Every dog learns differently, and understanding what they love is the first step to successful training.

Safe to say Rodney was an absolute superstar for his first session 🧡💚

The first lesson isn’t teaching the dog… it’s learning the dog 🐾

What a fantastic Friday at daycare! Our pups enjoyed plenty of playtime, socialization, tail wags, and enrichment activities with their furry friends. 🐶❤️
A special highlight was Friday Training with Mike, where our dogs worked on their manners, confidence, focus, and obedience skills while having fun and earning lots of praise along the way. 🎓🐾
We're so proud of all our pups for their hard work and happy attitudes today. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend! ☀️🐕💛

🐾 Puppy Life Skills - Lesson 2 🐾

This week our puppies continued building on the foundations from Lesson 1 before taking on some important real-world skills.

From scent work and scatter feeding to help encourage relaxation, to focus games, door manners and loose lead walking, the class was all about creating calm, confident puppies and engaged owners.

There may have been a few distractions along the way, but every check-in, every loose lead step and every moment of focus is progress worth celebrating.

A huge well done to all of our puppies and their humans! 🧡💚

🐾 Puppy Life Skills 🐾

Another fantastic evening with our puppy class graduates in the making! 🧡💚

Tonight we continued building on the foundations from Lesson 1 before introducing some important life skills that every puppy needs.

👃 Snuffle mats, scatter feeding and scent work helped our puppies learn how to decompress and relax using their incredible noses.

🎯 The Plate Game encouraged focus, engagement and checking in with their owners, even when there were distractions around them.

🚪 We also worked on calm lead preparation, door manners and threshold management, helping puppies learn that exciting things happen when they’re calm and patient.

🐕 Finally, we put our loose lead walking skills into practice, introducing techniques to build engagement and make walks more enjoyable for both dogs and humans.

Training isn’t just about teaching commands. It’s about building confidence, communication and a strong relationship between you and your dog.

A huge well done to all of tonight’s puppies and their humans! 🌟
