What are the beneifts of owning your own TheraPlate?

Hugo has been lame for 10 days and has his neck injections booked for Friday!!

So obviously he got cellulitis yesterday 🫣 but luckily it is in a hind limb.

It a race against time to keep it at bay as you cannot get injections with Cellulitis present.

So a 3 day course of antibiotics (because you cant sedated with antibiotics in their systems) and x5 TheraPlate sessions per day!!

You've gotta love them!

With the recent combination of warm days, cooler nights, rain, and sudden grass growth, horses and ponies are at increased risk of laminitis. Even those who have never shown signs before can be affected during these seasonal changes.

Laminitis is a painful and potentially devastating condition affecting the sensitive structures within the hoof. Early signs can include:
• Reluctance to move
• Increased digital pulses
• Heat in the feet
• Weight shifting or rocking back
• Stiffness when turning

Prevention and early management are key.

At Monmouthshire Equine Rehab with TheraPlate, we use TheraPlate therapy to support horses during recovery and management plans. The gentle, low-impact vibration therapy can help by:

After picking our hire plate last week Helen Louise Morrell sent us a picture of Storms leg.

Couldn't be happier with the result of this!
