Amazing news. The team were amazing. 🤩

🥰AND SHES HOME 🏡 JUST IN TIME FOR MUM RETURNING FROM HOLIDAY 🥰

Lina ran off after her extendable lead fell, spooking her and she bolted thinking she was being chased. In her first hour she ran miles, from crombie park all the way to carmyllie hall area 😯 She was spotted and the sightings were reported straight away (still wearing lead) . Despite searching she was not found.

The following day/night searchers began looking for her again, before, during and after work ....... all that was found was her lead on a wee wooden bridge back in CROMBIE park but close to a body of water 🥺 this was good news that she wasn't tangled up but worrying that she could have ended up in the water.

The next day/night, Gravy trails were done and cameras were set up, along with posters asking walkers NOT to allow their dogs to eat the food left for Lina. As always tho, dogs got there first and had a feast 🫣 showing us tho that our gravy, as always, was enticing 🤣
This morning at 0320 :) Lina returned herself back to the carpark where darota was waiting as she has done each night.

Lina saw her, stopped, stepped back, and in that moment, darota remembered what she was advised to do and dropped to the ground .... Lina ran over and jumped right into the car 🥰🥰🥰🥰 now safe and secure.

HUUUUUGE THANKYOU to everyone for their help, time and assistance to bring this gorgeous girl home ❤️❤️❤️

See people jogging with their dogs in this heat 😡😡

“No dog ever died because they missed a walk but plenty died being walked in the heat.” Never was there a truer sentence.

Lots of dogs out running around in the heat these past few hot days 🥵 and with more heat forecast please take care.

Don’t risk it!

If your dog gets overheated follow these steps …

👩‍⚕️ Call the vet
🥶 Begin active cooling before travel
💦 Get them wet - all over
🌳 Get them to a cool or shaded spot
❌ DONT cover them in a wet towel
🪭If at home put them by a fan
🌬️ For the journey get the air con on
⚠️If using a hose let it run cold before turning it on the dog
👕If using a cooling vest they MUST be kept cool and wet 💦

Dogs in hot foreign countries are used to the heat and are acclimatised to it, dogs in Scotland are not.

Remember …. Get them wet and get them to the Vet!

Still missing. Can anyone in the West End Dundee area please leave out water bowls. She’s not had access to water for almost 24 hours.

:) FOUND SAFE :) She was found wandering along Sutherland place and was contained. Meaghan was called straight away and went to collect her. Thankyou as ALWAYS to every single person who assisted, searches and gave up many hours to look for her 😍🥰

CHECK RING DOORBELLS/CCTV PLEASE
STILL MISSING 0800HRS (Thursday) NO SIGHTINGS AS YET. PLEASE CHECK GARDENS AND WASTE GROUND AROUND DICKSON AVE / BALGAY CEMETERY/SPAR, ELMWOOD ROAD/ MENZIESHILL 🙏 JUST CALL IN ALL SIGHTINGS PLEASE DONT CHASE HER. She definitely passed the spar at speed (1230 approx) heading lochee direction but we don't know where she went after that or if she backtracked/used back gardens etc.

Scared and still running, seen ninewells area earlier too. Could be anywhere hiding. PLEASE DON'T CHASE, SHES IN FLIGHT MODE AND YOU WILL PUSH HER INTO TRAFFIC. CALL OWNERS ASAP.

My dog was at the field and was spooked by another dog Ran off screaming but I’m not actually sure if she was hurt and we can’t find her anywhere. Approx 50 mins ago
At south road fields she was last seen running up the path onto forth crescent
