Evans Veterinary Practice Ltd We are a friendly five vet mixed practice based in Mold, Flintshire We are available 24 hours a day for emergencies in any species.

The practice has been located at Clayton Road for over 40 years, providing high standards of modern veterinary care in a traditional setting. Working in all fields of veterinary medicine and surgery we provide a compassionate and caring service for all species of animals under our care. In an emergency please ring the practice on the normal phone number 01352 752919. Out of office hours the phone

will be answered by our out of hours service. They will arrange for the duty vet to call you back as soon as possible. OPENING TIMES

5-7pm Open Surgery

6pm Emergency surgery

Sundays
2pm Emergency surgery

Bank holidays - closed
Emergencies only - call us for any advice. Over the weekend we have 2 Emergency Surgery times for any urgent problems that shouldn't be kept until Monday morning. To arrange an appointment or for any enquiries please call us on 01352 752919.

⚠️⚠️ Impotant Update for Pets Travelling Abroad⚠️⚠️

From 22nd April 2026 new rules will apply for pets entering the EU from Great Britain.

An EU pet passport, issued to or held by a pet owner who is resident in GB, will no longer be a valid document for travelling with pets from GB to the EU. This applies to EU pet passports issued in an EU Member State or Northern Ireland, including those issued before 22 April 2026. EU pet passports may only be issued to owners whose main residence is within the European Union.

GB residents travelling to the EU with a pet dog, cat or ferret will need to obtain an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) for travel from 22 April 2026.

More detailed guidance on the changes coming into effect from 22 April 2026 will be published on GOV.UK
