Benji visited Happy Tails at Gail's for the first time today. ❤️
He had been lovingly groomed by his owner previously, but had picked up quite a few knots, making it a longer groom than usual. With plenty of patience and care, we were able to work through them and keep his lovely signature Cockapoo style. ✂️🐶
He was such a good boy throughout and left looking and feeling fresh, fluffy and ready for summer! ☀️💙

🐾 Brothers Benji and Milo were in for their groom today. 🐾

These handsome boys came to me later in life for their very first grooming experiences, so from the beginning I've wanted to take things slowly and make every visit a positive one. Not only for them, but because I want grooming to be something we all enjoy.

I'm so proud of how well they are doing and how much confidence they have gained with each visit. ❤️

As groomers, we all know that some dogs can be more challenging than others, and progress doesn't happen overnight. Patience, kindness and working at the dog's pace can make such a difference, and seeing dogs like Benji and Milo become more comfortable makes it all worthwhile.

Look who enjoyed a little sunshine today! ☀️🐶

This gorgeous boy is Dexter, the lovely Springer Spaniel. ❤️
With his waggy tail, sweet nature and those beautiful markings, he's impossible not to fall in love with! 🥰
Dexter was an absolute pleasure to spend time with and, as always, lots of fuss and cuddles were included! 🐾✨

✨ Roxy the Sprocker Spaniel ✨

Roxy came in for a good pamper today and what a dream she was 💛

We started with a thorough de-shed to lift out all that loose coat, followed by a relaxing bath to get her fresh and clean. Then… another de-shed (because these coats just keep giving! 😄) to really get her looking her best. Finished off with some careful scissor work to tidy and shape while keeping her lovely natural look.

She was such a chilled girl from start to finish — an absolute pleasure to groom 🐾

Safe to say she left feeling fresh, fabulous… and about 3 dogs lighter in fluff! 😂

Doesn’t she look gorgeous? 😍
