🐾 Happy International Dog Day! 🐾

To all my pups, past and present — I hope somehow you know just how much you are loved. ❤️

Every single one of you has brought something special into my life. From the dogs who are still here filling my days with muddy paws, wagging tails, chaos and cuddles, to the beautiful souls who are no longer by my side but who left paw prints on my heart that will never fade. 🌈🐾

Dogs have always been such a huge part of my life, and I genuinely can't imagine who I would be without them. They give us the purest kind of love — completely unconditional, endlessly forgiving and always there when we need them most.

To the ones I've loved and lost, you are still thought about, still talked about and still missed. Time may pass, but the love we have for them doesn't disappear. You will always be part of my story and a piece of my heart will always belong to you. ❤️

And to the pups lucky enough to be here today — I'll keep loving you, spoiling you, worrying about you, taking far too many photos of you and doing everything I can to give you the happiest lives possible. 🥹😂

Past or present, here for a lifetime or simply for a chapter — you will always be my dogs, you will always be loved, and you will never, ever be forgotten. 🐾❤️

I’m so excited to announce that Barking Mad is getting into FLYBALL! 🥳

Fast dogs, flying tennis balls, lots of noise, loads of fun and probably a little bit of chaos… sounds pretty Barking Mad to me! 😂❤️

🐾 The Barking Mad Bandits Flyball Team 🐾
Flyball is a brilliant fast-paced team sport that gives dogs an outlet for their energy, builds confidence and focus, and most importantly — it’s GREAT fun for dogs and their humans!

I’m currently looking to see who might be interested in coming along and giving it a go. You don’t need any previous flyball experience, and your dog doesn’t need to already know what they’re doing — we’ll be learning and building the skills together.

For anybody who knows Bear, you’ll know that new places and unfamiliar environments can sometimes feel pretty overwhelming for our anxious little noodle 🥺❤️

Confidence building doesn’t always have to look like structured training exercises. Sometimes it’s about reading the dog in front of you and finding what helps them feel safe enough to let go and have fun.

For Bear, a little playful energy, movement and running together helped turn some of that nervousness into excitement. By matching his energy and making the environment feel fun rather than scary, we started to see his body relax, his confidence grow and that happy, goofy Bear come shining through. 🥹

It’s never about forcing a nervous dog to ‘get over it’ — it’s about giving them positive experiences, working at their pace and helping them discover that new places can be safe, fun and rewarding too. ❤️🐾

Try this simple scent game to get their nose working and their brain engaged! 👃🧠

Scent-based enrichment is a brilliant way to:
🐶 Give high-energy dogs a productive outlet
💛 Build confidence in nervous or anxious dogs
👃 Encourage natural sniffing and searching behaviours
🧠 Provide valuable mental stimulation
😌 Help dogs feel calmer, more settled and fulfilled

Remember, enrichment doesn’t always need to be physical. Dogs need opportunities to think, problem-solve, sniff and use their natural instincts too.
In fact, a few minutes of focused scent work can be incredibly enriching — and it’s a fantastic way to give your dog’s brain a workout without adding more physical exercise.

A fulfilled dog isn’t just a tired dog — it’s a dog whose physical, mental and instinctive needs are being met. 💛🐾

Folks, if you haven't already give this page a follow - picked up my first order this afternoon and I can honestly say I've never had fresher or tastier bread in my life! The Cheddar and Jalapeno loaf didn't make it far before I had to rip into it - genuinely amazing! 🍞🥖
