🐹🤎 A very warm welcome to Daisy! 🤎🐹

Please join us in welcoming our beautiful new girl, Daisy, to the rescue! 🌸

Isn’t she just gorgeous? 🥹 She’s already melting our hearts with her sweet little face and beautiful golden-brown colouring.

Daisy has now joined our little rescue family, and we can’t wait to get to know her, spoil her with lots of love and attention, and watch her settle in and make friends with the other piggies. 🥰

As always, our rescue piggies are given plenty of hay, fresh veggies, a safe and comfortable home, and lots of love and care. 🤎

🐹❤️ Our Rescue Wishlist is now live! ❤️🐹

We’ve finally put together a wishlist for our little rescue, filled with some of the things we use and need to help care for our animals. 🥰

From hay, food and bedding to enrichment, treats and cleaning supplies, every single item makes a difference and helps us give our animals the best care possible. 🐾

🐹💙 Two of our handsome male piggies are looking for a new home! 💙🐹

We are looking for loving, responsible homes for two of our male guinea pigs. They are both lovely boys who deserve a home where they can be cared for, spoiled and given plenty of attention. 🥰

🏡 We’re looking for someone who understands guinea pigs and can provide them with a suitable enclosure, plenty of space, fresh hay, vegetables and lots of love.

They can go together or separately, depending on the right home. 💙

There is a small donation of £10 each to help towards the care and food they have received. This is not about making money — we just want to make sure they go to genuine, loving homes.

A big welcome to Chino, Falkor & Bubo — our three beautiful cockatiels who have now joined the rescue! 🥰🦜

We’re so happy to have these three with us and can’t wait to give them the love, care and attention they deserve. They’ll have plenty of space, enrichment, good food and, most importantly, a safe and loving home where they can settle in at their own pace. 💚

🥬 Reduced Fresh Food Needed for Our Rescue Animals! 🥕🫑

Hi everyone! 😊

I run Olly’s Exotic Animal Rescue, a small rescue caring for a variety of animals, and we’re currently looking for any local supermarkets that may be able to offer us reduced or surplus fresh fruit and vegetables for our rescue animals. 🐰🦜🐢🐹

We would particularly be grateful for things such as:
🥬 Spring greens
🥗 Lettuce
🍅 Tomatoes
🥒 Cucumbers
🫑 Peppers
🥕 Carrots
🍎 Apples
🍐 Pears
…and any other animal-safe fresh fruit and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste.

If anyone knows of a supermarket, shop, supplier or local business that works with rescues or has reduced/surplus produce available, we would be incredibly grateful if you could point us in the right direction. ❤️

We’re based on the Isle of Sheppey and new Romney and are happy to collect locally where possible.

Even a small donation can make a huge difference to the animals in our care. 🐾❤️

💙🐦 Please join us in welcoming Blueie to the rescue! 🐦💙

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Blueie, a beautiful 7+ year-old Quaker parrot, into our rescue family. 🥰

Blueie has now arrived safely and we’re looking forward to getting to know this gorgeous little character, learning all about their personality, routine and likes and dislikes, and giving them all the love, care and attention they deserve. 💕🏡

At 7+ years old, Blueie has already experienced quite a bit of life, and we’re so happy that they now have a safe place where they can relax, feel loved and be themselves. 🥹💙

🌿 Looking for Large Tree Trunks/Logs 🌿

Does anyone have any large tree trunks or chunky logs that they no longer need?

We’re looking for some to add to our rescue’s animal enclosures to create a more natural, enriching environment for our chickens and other residents. They make fantastic climbing, perching, and exploring features.

If you’ve recently had a tree cut down or have any large logs taking up space, we’d be incredibly grateful if you could donate them to our rescue rather than sending them to waste.

💔 Update on Pickles 💔

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Pickles has been found, but sadly she is no longer with us. 😢

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who shared our post, kept an eye out, and sent kind messages of support. Your kindness meant so much to us during this difficult time.

Pickles was a much-loved little budgie who brought so much happiness, and she will be deeply missed. Fly high, beautiful girl. 🕊️💚

Thank you all again for your support. Please keep Pickles’ family in your thoughts as they come to terms with this heartbreaking loss. 💙
