HELP NIAMH TO THE FINISH LINE! 🤍

Niamh is a regular at The Dog Shop but has become part of our shop family - and more importantly, my adopted little sister 💞

Niamh has Rett syndrome, and The Dog Shop has become such an important place for her🫶🏼🐶

We've watched her confidence grow, her social skills develop and her independence shine through in her own way.

Now she's taking on a triathlon with her Auntie and needs an adaptive trike to take part!

Any donation would be amazing, and if you can't donate, sharing and interacting helps massively

If the weather has you reaching for an iced coffee, it’s probably a sign your dog needs a break from the heat too🐶
Dogs can overheat quickly and heat stroke can happen fast, even on walks that don’t seem too long.
Stick to cooler times of day, avoid hot pavements, and always make sure they’ve got shade and fresh water.
At The Dog Shop, dog safety and wellbeing is always our priority, and we’re passionate about sharing awareness like this.

With temperatures above 25°C this week, I kindly suggest you don’t bring your dogs to the shop during peak times of this heatwave. The risk of heatstroke is real, and even short walks can be dangerous. Instead, I have long-lasting chews, natural treats that can be filled and frozen and ice creams, to keep your dogs entertained and happy at home🐶 Just 20 minutes of chewing or sniffing can provide the same mental and emotional satisfaction as a walk. Thank you so much for understanding and helping keep every pup safe and happy.
