I’ll be taking some time off from this Friday, 2nd October – Monday 12th October.

I’ll be back in action on Tuesday 13th October for normal walking & training schedules from then. 🐶💚

🌭 DACHSHUND BREED SPECIFIC WALK 🌭
A walk made especially for our little sausage dogs!

A fun, social and enriching walk designed around the needs of Dachshunds — with plenty of sniffing, exploring and opportunities to socialise with other sausage dogs, while keeping the pace and activities suitable for their unique little bodies.

🐾 Benefits of a Dachshund-only walk

🐶 Socialisation with similar dogs
Dachshunds can benefit from regularly meeting and walking alongside other Dachshunds. They get opportunities to practise polite greetings, communication and appropriate play with dogs that often have similar body language and energy levels.

👃 Plenty of sniffing and exploring
Dachshunds were bred to hunt, so using their noses is hugely important. A breed-specific walk can be structured around sniffing, exploring and scent enrichment, rather than simply covering lots of distance.

🧠 Mental stimulation
Following scents, exploring new environments and interacting appropriately with other dogs can provide excellent mental enrichment. For a Dachshund, a shorter but interesting walk can be far more enriching than simply marching for miles.

Just one space remaining for our secure field play date on Saturday ! Who wants to join the fun 🐶 Maybe your dog fancies a go at the agility course like Frankie did when we checked out the park at the weekend 😍

Pick ups will start around 8.45am and drop offs will be from around 11.30am as for our first play date we’ll be heading to Taunton Dog Park.

💚 There are also 2 spaces left for our adventure walk on Saturday 8th August - this is the one that was postponed from June due to the hot weather. This will be a 2 hour walk due to it still being warmer. We’ll be back to 3 hours for the next one 🥾

Let me know if you want to secure the last spaces 🐾

We’re excited to introduce our brand new Secure Field Play Date sessions at Exmoor Canine Co.!

These group sessions are limited to just 6 dogs, giving your dog the chance to enjoy safe, supervised off-lead fun in a fully enclosed field.

Whether your dog loves to run, sniff, explore, make new friends has high prey drive or lacks good recall our secure field visits are perfect for your dog(s). Secure fields provide the perfect environment to burn energy, build confidence and enjoy natural enrichment without the distractions or risks of public spaces.

🐶 Benefits:
🌿 Safe, fully enclosed field
🐾 Small groups of up to 6 dogs
💚 Supervised play and socialisation
🐕 Plenty of space to run and exercise
🧠 Mental stimulation through new sights, smells and experiences
😌 Helps reduce stress and promotes calmer behaviour at home

These sessions are ideal for friendly dogs who enjoy the company of others and want the freedom to play in a secure environment.

Spaces are limited to ensure every dog has the best experience, so early booking is recommended!

📆 Play dates will either be late afternoon/early evening or a Saturday morning.

💚 Our first play date will be on Saturday 1st August .
All my regular dogs welcome from all areas as long as friendly when meeting new dogs.
