For an affordable price Pets 2 Places can collect you from anywhere in Milton Keynes, take you to your destination and bring you back home. If you are unable to accompany your pet I will transport just your pet. Pets 2 Places specialise in helping elderly/disabled people, we offer a full assistance service not just for the animal but the owner also. I get to see this handsome fella A LOT! 🐶💙

He goes over to see his nan and grandad regularly, which means I get plenty of cuddles, plenty of excited greetings… and I’m always just as happy to see him too. 🥹🐾

But one of the things I also really love is seeing his mum.

Like me, she is a **perpetual learner**. Always doing something new — degrees, MBAs, leadership, development… she’s constantly pushing herself.

And she always wants to hear my weekly updates too. What’s happening with the products, what’s moving forward, what’s next. 🚀

The funny thing is, she tells me our chats inspire her to keep going.

But the truth is… **she inspires me just as much.**

We all have those days where we question our life choices, wonder why we’re putting ourselves through the hard stuff and ask whether it would just be easier to stop pushing so much.

But having those regular chats gives us both a bit of accountability, motivation and inspiration. 💙✨

Sometimes the people who tell you that you inspire them are quietly doing exactly the same for you.

And I think that’s really lovely. 🥰🐾

What a great way to end the week. 💙✨

Today has been full of really exciting conversations — meeting with mentors, speaking with potential investors and looking at the next steps for everything we’re building.

And honestly, I’m SO excited about what’s coming next. 🚀🐾

There’s still plenty to do before the end of this year, but one thing I know for sure…

**2027 is going to be a BIG year for us.**

It’s the year we launch our products.
The year we push even harder on education.
And the year we really start putting **pet travel safety on the map.** 🚗🐶🐱

There is so much happening behind the scenes right now, and seeing all the pieces slowly coming together is such an exciting feeling.

The mission has always been simple:

**Protect the pets. Protect the people. 💙🐾**

Bring on the rest of 2026… and then let’s see what 2027 has in store! 🚀✨

This gorgeous boy had a little stay at Hunters Lodge Country Boarding Kennels, Day Care & Cattery while his mum and dad were away on a work trip. 🐶💙

And what an absolute star he was.

He’s **ramp trained**, which is actually quite rare, so he made getting in and out of the car look completely effortless. ⭐️🐾

You can tell he is very much his mum’s baby, and honestly… just look at him. What a gorgeous boy. 🥹💙

He travelled with his favourite toy and his own blanket too, which always makes things feel that little bit more familiar and comforting.

We do of course provide bedding, but if your dog prefers their own blanket, toy or a little piece of home to travel with them, that is absolutely no problem at all. 🧸🐾

He was an absolute pleasure to have in the car from start to finish.

Safe, settled, comfortable… and very loved. 💙🐶

A listening ear with every pet taxi journey 💙

🐾A huge part of what we do is simply listen.

Customers can climb on board with their pet, get comfortable and talk to us about anything they need to.

What’s said in the car, stays in the car. We won’t probe, ask lots of questions or try to fix anything.

We’re not counsellors and we don’t claim to have any therapy qualifications.

But it always makes me smile when one of the franchisees says:“I feel like a therapist some days.”

Sometimes it can just be easier to talk when you’re sitting next to someone you don’t really know, travelling somewhere with your pet beside you.

And if that’s what you need that day, we’re here.

A calm journey, a bit of company, and a listening ear.

I WON!! 🏆🎉🐾

I’m super proud to say that yesterday I won the MK Tech Week Pitch Final!

The competition was tough, with 8 other finalists all building some genuinely amazing businesses, so to be crowned the winner felt pretty incredible. 🥹

I’ll admit, I went into it feeling a little bit like an imposter.
I’m not a tech person. I don’t code. I don’t build robots or AI. 😂

But what I am building is very much driven by technology, engineering and innovation.

My role is to bring the vision, the years of hands-on experience, the problem that needs solving and the understanding of what safer pet transport needs to look like.

Then I have an incredible team of technical experts around me who help turn that vision into reality. 🚗🐶🔬

And yesterday, that vision won. 🏆

I may have been the one holding the trophy, but this is absolutely a win for the whole team behind the mission we’re on.

Very, very proud of this one.

And very excited about what comes next. 👀🐾

Behind the scenes today… 🐾💻

Busy working away on several pitches… and obviously my cat has decided this is very much a team effort. 😂

Because apparently no laptop session is complete without a cat curled up right next to it… or preferably on it. 😹

I’m sure all fellow cat owners will understand that whatever you’re trying to do instantly becomes secondary to the tiny furry supervisor who has appointed themselves head of operations. 👀🐱

Wouldn’t have it any other way though. 💙

• Taking a pet to an appointment on behalf of a housebound owner

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that Pets 2 Places has been selected as a finalist in the **Only Rescue Awards – Best Rescue Transport Champion** category! 🎉🐾

And there are just **five finalists** in the category.

I’m genuinely so chuffed.

These awards are primarily about celebrating the incredible work carried out by rescues, so to make the final in the category created for organisations supporting the rescue world feels incredibly special.

I’m also so proud of the Pets 2 Places team.

The standards they maintain, the kindness they show to rescue pets and their new owners, and the care they put into every journey is exactly what our service is about.

For us, rescue transport is never just about getting a pet from A to B.

Sometimes it is helping a nervous rescue pet travel quietly and calmly to their new home.

Sometimes it is helping someone who doesn’t drive collect the pet they have fallen in love with.

And sometimes it is becoming that ongoing lifeline afterwards — making sure that not having a car does not become a barrier to giving a rescue pet a loving home or accessing the care they need throughout their life.

Collecting a newly adopted rescue pet and taking them to their new home is actually my absolute favourite journey we offer. To be part of someone’s new beginning — both the pet’s and their new owner’s — is incredibly humbling and heartwarming, and it is a privilege every single time.

To be recognised for that work means an enormous amount.

Whatever happens on the night, I’m incredibly proud that Pets 2 Places is one of the final five. ❤️🐶🐱

Next up is Denise. 🐾

Denise had always wanted to run her own business, but like so many people, she didn’t really know how to make that happen.

For years, she’d taken jobs that worked around raising her child, so finally being able to start something for herself meant a lot.

She’s absolutely thrown herself into Pets 2 Places, loves what she does, and has even discovered a real passion for wedding chaperoning along the way. 💍🐶

Sometimes you don’t need to have all the answers before you start.

You just need the right opportunity, the right support and the confidence to take that first step. 💙
