Last week we asked people to vote for somebody that they thought deserved some VIP treatment at Chi’smas next month. With an overwhelming majority of votes, I’m very pleased to upgrade Vanessa Paschke to VIP 💕
Thank you for being such a ray of sunshine Vanessa!

Isn’t it funny (sad) how people are so much more willing to say something negative on the internet than something nice?

Please Comment on this post with something nice! About anything or anyone. No need for it to be relevant to our page or what I’m about to say, just say something nice. Nice about where you are, nice about your bestie, nice about what you had for lunch … it doesn’t matter! Just use your fingers to say something pleasant today 💕

I posted earlier with an example of how as a ‘one woman’ business, I used AI as a tool to smooth out my workload and ease a burden and immediately was met with people who have never interacted with my page before, or had any involvement in the events, leaving negative comments. I mean, it’s fine - have your opinions, I really won’t be phased at all and quite honestly, if I stop ‘the kind of person’ who only wants to muster up energy to be negative, from coming to the events then I’ve likely saved myself from dealing with whatever else they’d like to complain about later on 😅. It just got me thinking about how people are more inspired to be negative than not!

(And to be clear, the things I use AI for, I wouldn’t pay someone else for anyway! My background is in photography, art and graphic design so I’d do it myself 😄 There’s no budget for that stuff lol I’m just glad that sometimes I don’t have to. )

Can’t wait to see all the teeny weeny cuties next month! Our indoor festival means we can be festive and toasty too! (Or whack the aircon up if it’s still bizarrely summer weather in a months time)
