Bailey working hard on those impulse control muscles! 🐾🐶

​Here is a quick look at how we’ve been practicing cue words to help keep his high-drive Herding Instinct under control. For a Collie, moving objects (cars, bikes, runners) are almost impossible to resist. By building super solid focus on cues like "Sit" "Leave It," "Let's go," BEFORE something moves or is too close, we're giving him a brain switch to choose us over the chase.
​Consistency, high-value rewards, and a lot of patience. Still a work in progress, but so proud of his focus yesterday! 🐾
