A Little Appreciation Post

This handsome boy is one of the very first dogs that came through my doors when I opened Shampooch back in March 2025. 🥹

He is honestly an absolute pleasure to groom, and over the time I’ve had him, his lovely owners have put their trust in me to look after him, even through the little hiccups and learning curves I’ve had along the way.

Starting a business and learning as you go isn’t always perfect, but having clients who believe in you, give you their trust and stick by you means more than they probably realise.

So this is just a little appreciation post to say thank you. 🥰

Thank you for trusting me with your boy, for supporting my little business from the very beginning and for continuing to put your faith in me.

Dogs like him and owners like you are a huge part of why I love what I do.

🪲🐾 A Little Flea Reminder 🐾🪲

Just a little reminder to please check your dog for fleas before bringing them along to their grooming appointment. 🐶

Unfortunately, fleas can spread very quickly and once they’re brought into the salon, they can easily be passed on to other dogs.

If I find live fleas during a groom, an additional charge may be added to cover the extra cleaning, disinfecting and treatment needed before my next client can safely come in.

If you know or suspect your dog has fleas before their appointment, please just pop me a message beforehand. ❤️ I’d much rather rearrange their groom and give you time to treat them first.

It’s nothing to be embarrassed about, fleas happen! It’s just really important that I keep Shampooch clean, safe and flea-free for every dog that comes through the door. 🐾✨
