Red Frogfish ❤️❤️❤️🐸🐟

We will miss this little dude when he finds a new home, but we are sure someone is going to love him as much as we do! 😍

👇Here’s some facts about Frogfish 👇

• Rather than swimming like most fish, they "walk" along using their modified fins.

• They use a tiny lure on their head to attract unsuspecting prey.

• Despite their cute appearance, they can swallow prey almost as big as themselves!

• They're ambush predators and can sit patiently in the same spot for days waiting for the perfect meal.

Tiny fins, grumpy little faces, and loads of personality – it's easy to see why frogfish are one of our favourites. ❤️🐟

Our female Bristlenose is happily minding her own business on her favourite piece of driftwood, while the male is never more than a few inches behind her checking she’s still there 🐟

These cute little catfish thrive in shoals in planted tanks with fine substrate where they spend their day searching for food and enjoying snacks such as bloodworm, daphnia or tubifex 🪱

We stock many native plants, including this lovely native Forget-me-not. Those little blue flowers aren't just pretty – they're a fantastic source of nectar for pollinators, and the plant is right at home around pond margins, streams and damp areas 🌾 🐝

Adding native plants is one of the easiest ways to make a pond feel more natural and wildlife-friendly, while still looking beautiful through the summer 🐸

🐸 It’s getting late in the season for tadpoles, but we’ve had a few people asking for tadpole food, so there must still be plenty of little ones around!

Pop in and pick up some tadpole food to help them grow strong and healthy as they develop into frogs. 🐸💚

We also have a great selection of native, wildlife-friendly plants. A must-have for any wildlife pond. They provide shelter, food, and breeding habitats for a wide range of pond creatures. 🥰🌿

🪶 Feather Dusters 🪶

One of the most eye-catching additions to a marine tank these unusual creatures are actually filter-feeding worms, using their feathery crown to catch tiny food particles from the water 💧

Best suited to mature, stable setups, they rely on regular feeding of fine foods like phytoplankton and suspended particles to thrive. We recommend Nyos Phyto Max which is available in our store.

They’re reef safe and fascinating to watch, but do need a bit more care than most so ideal for more experienced setups 🪸

Definitely something a bit different if you’re looking to add interest to your reef 👌
