🐾💙 A LITTLE WAGGLES & WIGGLES BOOKING UPDATE! 💛🐾

We’ve made a few temporary changes to our booking system, so you might notice that some appointment times have disappeared. 👀

DON’T PANIC! 😮‍💨

If you already have a session booked in, your booking is NOT affected unless we have contacted you directly.

You’ll still get your full 50 minutes of soft play as booked. 🐶🎾

The changes only apply to new bookings made from today onwards.

The reason for the change is the state we’ve sometimes been left with the soft play after the previous session.

We’ve had some sessions where the play area has been left needing a much bigger clean than normal, which has then caused delays, knock-on cancellations and a lot of extra work for us.

So, for now, we’ve increased the gap between appointments from 10 minutes to 20 minutes. This gives us more time to deal with those bigger clean-ups and make sure the play area is properly cleaned and ready for the next dog. 🧽🐾

We know this isn’t ideal, especially as some of our more popular appointment times have now disappeared from the online booking system.

And honestly, this ISN'T a change we want to make.

We know it affects our customers because it means fewer appointment options are available, but it also affects us.

Increasing the gaps means fewer bookings across the week, which means we’re losing money too. We’re a small business, so every booking genuinely matters to us.

But our priority will always be making sure the soft play is clean, fresh and ready for you and your dog when you arrive. ❤️🐶

We’d rather take the hit ourselves and have a clean, properly prepared play area than have customers arriving to find we’re still cleaning up after the previous session.

This is only temporary. We’re looking at other ways of managing the cleaning between sessions so we can hopefully bring those appointment times back without compromising on cleanliness.

🚨🐶 RIGHT… ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. 🐶🚨

We’ve asked nicely.

We’ve explained nicely.

We’ve tried being understanding.

That’s clearly not working, so here we go…

Over the last few days, we’ve had sessions delayed and completely cancelled because of the amount of wee and poo some dogs have left behind in the soft play.

And before anyone says “but dogs have accidents!”…

YES. WE KNOW. 🤦🏻‍♂️

We are literally a dog soft play. 😂

If your dog has the odd accident because they’re excited, nervous, caught short or whatever — WE GET IT.

What we are talking about is dogs having multiple accidents throughout a session, with some being left for us to discover afterwards.

That is NOT okay.

We are a small business, not a doggy toilet with a cleaning crew.

Every time we have to spend ages cleaning up after a session, it pushes the next booking back.

Every time we have to delay someone, someone else is unhappy.

And every time we have to cancel a booking because the place is a state, WE LOSE MONEY.

This is our business.
This is how we make a living.
And we’ve worked incredibly hard to get Waggles & Wiggles where it is.

So here’s the new rule:

💩 ACCIDENT? Tell us.
🧻 SEE AN ACCIDENT? Clean it up.
🐕 DOG CONSTANTLY HAVING ACCIDENTS? Don’t ignore it and leave us to deal with it.

If your dog is repeatedly toileting during the session, we will ask you to leave.

And before anyone asks…

NO, YOU WON’T GET A REFUND.

Because at that point, we’ve lost the booking, lost the time, had to clean the soft play and potentially had to delay or cancel the next customer.

We honestly shouldn’t have to explain this.

You wouldn’t invite someone into your house, let their dog repeatedly wee and poo all over your floor and then say “ah well, someone else can clean it.”

So please don’t do it here.

We want Waggles & Wiggles to be somewhere you can bring your dog, let them go absolutely mental and have the best 50 minutes ever. 😂🐶

But that only works if EVERYONE plays their part.

We’re not going to apologise for wanting our business kept clean.

We’re not going to apologise for protecting the customers who DO respect the place.

And we’re definitely not going to keep losing money because people can’t be bothered to deal with their own dog’s mess.

Accidents happen.

Taking advantage of our good nature doesn’t.

Right. Rant over. 😂

Now go and let your dogs cause some GOOD chaos. 🐶💨
