We are situated in the heart of South Yorkshire at Mexborough over looking Dearne Valley. A brief history of Dearne Valley Welsh Cobs

Mr Graham Schofield purchased his first Welsh Cob from his long time friend Mr Nelson Smith in approximately 1974. Trevallion Jolly Boy was a dun c**t out of Parc Ormond Jolly the 2nd by Llanarth Braint. Mr Graham Schofield then brought Trevallion Telynor in to Yorkshire who won countless North of England premiums. It was Trevallion Telynor that stirred Mr Graham Schofield's passion for showing. Upon visiting Mr Nelson Smith one day, a dun c**t foal caught Mr Graham Schofield's eye despite duns not being considered fashionable at the time. The dun c**t was due to be entered in to the Llanarth sales, where his confirmation and presence shone through, providing an unforgettable performance. This was the one and only Trevallion Flash Jack who Mr Graham Schofield and Dearne Valley Welsh Cobs owe so much to. Trevallion Flash Jack went on to produce:

•Dearne Valley Black Jack
•Trevallion H***h
•Trevallion Gwyneth
•Trevallion Jacks Image
•Trevallion Apt Jack

And the rest is history!

What a week!

Olivia Constantine & Rachel Constantine we take our hats off to you, you’ve worked so incredibly hard for the last few years to produce Governor to this level.

The hard work shows with the results from this years Royal Welsh. It’s not very often you can say you have a Royal Welsh winner, and Olivia has worked so hard to produce him for us and at 18 she can say she has produced a winner. And with a ride mark of 45 with an initial pull of 2nd but unfortunately not the conf’s judges cup of tea and still coming 6th in a huge class of ridden geldings! I think that tells you everything! we are so incredibly proud and grateful!
