Two face has joined the Taff’s Happy Tails pack! 🐾

Meet Rosa, the beautiful Sprocker Spaniel, and Oscar, the sweetest, most lovable kitty! ❤️

I recently spent the week doing daily check-ins with these two lovely souls while there owners were away. It was so nice getting to know them over the week and giving them plenty of company, cuddles and attention in the comfort of their own home.

They were such sweethearts and definitely made my week a little more enjoyable!

It’s always lovely watching new pets get comfortable with me and become part of the Taff’s Happy Tails family. I’m looking forward to seeing these two again!.

We’ve come to the end of another fantastic month!! 🐾❤️

Which means it’s time to introduce our June Stars of the Month! 🌟

First up is BELLE! 🐶

Belle is a beautiful 5-year-old Beagle who loves getting out and about in the warm, sunny weather. She enjoys soaking up the sunshine, rolling around in the grass, having a little paddle in the river, and taking her time sniffing through the tall grass. She’s an absolute pleasure to walk, and I’m so grateful I get to spend time with such a lovely girl. ❤️

Next up are The Three Musketeers – Max, Shadow, and Patch! 🐾

These three handsome boys are always an adventure, and a challenge I’m more than happy to take on!

Max, the oldest of the trio, is a gorgeous mixed breed with endless energy. He loves a good run, lots of sniffing, and, of course, any opportunity to wind up his son, Shadow! 😂

Shadow is just like his dad – another handsome mixed breed who enjoys running, exploring, and soaking up all the attention he can get.

Last but certainly not least is Patch, a very handsome Border Collie. Although he can be a little shy at first, he never says no to a good fuss and a lovely walk.

It’s always a pleasure spending time with these amazing dogs, and I’m so thankful to be part of their adventures. ❤️🐾

Congratulations to all of June’s Stars of the Month! 🌟

Could your pup be one of July's Stars of the Month? 🌟 , and if you'd like them to join the pack, pop me a message to book a service of your choice! 🐕❤️

And as we are at the end of a fantastic month i'd love to see what you and your dogs got up too in the warm weather we have had, drop your favorite photos below I'd love to have a laugh 😂❤

🐣 Easter is coming up! 🐾
With the Easter holidays just around the corner and many people heading off on their holibobs, you might be wondering who will look after your pets while you're away. Don’t worry — I’ve got you covered!

I currently have some availability over the two-week Easter break for:
🐶 Dog walking
🏡 Pet check-ins
🐕 Daycare
⚠️ Please note: I’ll be away myself from the 2nd–6th of April, so I won’t be available on those dates. Other than that, I still have a few spaces left!
If you’d like to book a slot or save a space, feel free to send me a message or give me a call. I’d love to help look after your furry friends while you’re away! 🐾

Amazing Announcement for my business in the coming future, I will be introducing overnight dog sitting to anyone around Merthyr Tydfil or aberdare and maybe further depending on travel availabilitys
I will be introducing this coming up in July as I'm way too busy with college to stay overnight in customers houses unfortunately and I am hopefully to be driving by then so I can take your babies for lovely Adventurous walks!.

If you have any enquirys about this or you'd like to book in advance give me a call or a message on Facebook or phone messages.

And I'd like to say thank you for the support with followers and sharing it means the world!.

Get to Know Your Dog Walker 🐾
Hi! I’m Caerwyn, the face behind Taffs Happy Tails 👋
I’m 17 (turning 18 at the end of the year!) and I started my little business to help out fellow pet owners around Merthyr Tydfil. Whether you’re off on holiday, working long hours, or just need an extra pair of hands, I’m here to make sure your dogs have the best, most enriching walks possible — full of fun, sniffing, and tail wags!.

I’m currently studying Animal Care Level 2 in college and hoping to go on to the University of Bristol to study animal science. My big dream? To become a vet in the Army (a bit different, I know — but I love a challenge!).
I’ve recently had amazing opportunitys to complete three new qualifications: Level 3 First Aid at Work, Canine First Aid, and a Dog Handler course which my workplace generously supported and funded for me and my colleagues.
I’m always looking to build my knowledge and skills to make sure I can provide the safest and best possible care for your dogs 🐾

I’ve had a bit of a mix of work experience:
•Worked in a restaurant for about a year
•Spent a summer in a café
•Currently working in a dog boarding and training kennel
•Completed two weeks of work experience in a veterinary practice (and saw some things I never expected to see!)

Safe to say, animals are 100% my thing. I honestly couldn’t imagine doing a job that doesn’t involve caring for them. Being outdoors with dogs, exploring nature, and seeing them have the time of their lives? Best office ever!.

When I’m not working or studying, I love arts and crafts, listening to music, and I’m part of the Army Cadets — which I absolutely love. It’s given me some amazing friends and experiences.

At home, I have two gorgeous English Springer Spaniels — Willow (who joined us in October) and Fin (who I’ve had for 4 years). I also have three gerbils: Bagheera, Fidget, and Tigger. They’re all my pride and joy, so I completely understand how important your pets are to you.

Thank you all so much for the support and follows so far — it genuinely means the world. I can’t wait to meet you all and your furry friends!

If you’ve got any (appropriate!) questions, pop them in the comments — I’d love to chat 🐶✨
