Are you passionate about showing and have the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to become a CHAPS UK Judge?

We are delighted to invite applications for our CHAPS UK Judges Assessment Day, taking place on:

📍 Durfold Farm, Surrey, GU8 4PQ

This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your judging journey, develop your knowledge and skills, and become part of the CHAPS UK judging community.

We are looking for individuals who are committed to maintaining and promoting high standards of judging, fairness and horsemanship within the show ring.

Whether you are an experienced judge looking to join the CHAPS UK panel or feel you have the knowledge and passion to take the next step, we would love to hear from you.

The foal must have been born in the current calendar year and must meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria:

* be sired by a CHAPS UK Graded Stallion;
* be sired by a non-coloured stallion graded or licensed by a studbook that is a member of the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH), or by an appropriate DEFRA-recognised studbook; or
* be out of a CHAPS UK Graded Mare.

CHAPSUK Championships 2026
Youngstock Evaluations

Declarations for Evaluation times will be taken on Show Day & MUST be made in the Show Office before 9am on Show Day.
YE’s will run from 09:30am & there will be a 30minute lunch break for Evaluators at 12noon
3yr old Performance Evaluations entered for SJ or Eventing sections will be expected to loose jump.

All 1st Premium exhibits from the YE classes PLUS all 1st Premium exhibits from current year’s CHAPS Regionals/Spring Festival are eligible to go forward to the Hightopps Stud Youngstock Evaluations Championship in the Thursday Evening Performance.
All eligible exhibits must declare their intention to compete in the Championship in the Show Office by 3:30pm on Thursday.

The response to the CHAPS UK Autumn Stallion & Mare Grading has been outstanding, and we are delighted to announce that just ONE place now remains for this year’s grading.

📅 Wednesday 19th August 2026
📍 Arena UK, Allington

If you have already requested a Pre-Grading Application Questionnaire but have not yet returned your completed application and paid your £50 deposit, please be aware that your place is not secured.

The final remaining place will be allocated to the first applicant who submits a completed Pre-Grading Application Questionnaire together with the required £50 deposit.

💳 Please note: The remaining balance of the entry fee must be paid no later than the official closing date of Saturday 1st August 2026. Any unpaid entries may be forfeited and the place offered to another applicant.

⏳ Don’t miss out—once this final place has been filled, entries to the 2026 Autumn Grading will officially close.

If you have requested a Pre-Grading Application Questionnaire but have not yet returned your completed application and paid your £50 deposit, your place is not yet secured.

With only two places remaining, any outstanding or incomplete applications are now at risk of losing their provisional place should another fully completed application and deposit be received first.

If you wish to be considered for this grading, please return your completed questionnaire and deposit without delay.
