Found:
Entire male black long haired cat, approximately 7 years old. Found in the Merthyr area but unsure of exact location. Looks to be in good health and well fed and cared for. If you think this may be your cat then please get in touch with us on 01685 385117 or via email on [email protected]

Found:
Male rabbit found in a car park in Aberdare (finder unsure of which car park). No microchip. Seems to be in good health and very friendly. Brought in to our Aberdare branch and now being fostered by a staff member from our Merthyr Tydfil branch. If you think this could be your rabbit please give our Merthyr branch a call during opening hours. Proof of ownership is required.

Sad post:
Young ginger 8 week old female kitten found sadly deceased. Found in Pontsticill area and brought into us. No microchip found. If you think this may be your cat please give us a call.

We've been seeing a noticeable increase in cases of pyometra recently - a serious and potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus in unspayed female dogs.
This condition can also be seen in cats, but is not as common.

If your dog is showing any of these signs, especially a few weeks after a season, please contact your vet as soon as possible. Early diagnosis and treatment can make a significant difference.

The good news is that pyometra is largely preventable through routine spaying. If you'd like to discuss the benefits of neutering or have any concerns about your pet, we're always happy to help.

STRAY DOG

A member of the public has found a stray dog in the Pontlottyn area and is currently in with us.
- Terrier type
- dark grey with white-tipped paws and white around her eyes
- female
- no chip
- wearing a pink collar (no ID tag)
