❤️‍🩹 The benefits of a varied program ❤️‍🩹

Beautiful Amber is a Rhodesian Ridgeback (no prizes for guessing that!) and we see her every two weeks for either laser or hydro. In between her visits she also has massages every other week!

This means Amber gets a treatment every single week, targeting and focusing on slightly different things in each session to really get the maximum benefit. ❤️‍🩹

We'd always encourage our dogs to have a look at other complimentary therapies alongside hydrotherapy, as we love to see a dog with an ideal maintenance program. 🫶

Good job Max ❤️

We're continuing our Halloween theme, this little star is puppy Max, he's a golden retriever and was rather hoping to get to eat his hat 😆

We see Max for puppy grooms and thanks to his early, consistent exposure he's now a confident, good boy for the whole grooming process!

Just because they were born with it, doesn't mean they should live with it. 🐾

Contact your branch and find out if hydrotherapy can help your dog.

Nice teefs Ceilidh 💕

No prizes for guessing what this pretty girl was looking at to get that pose 😆🎾

We're more than happy to motivate dogs however they prefer, be it treats, likki mat, toys, tennis ball, and of course owners! A lot of our owners are also part time cheerleaders for their dogs 📣📣📣

Regardless of how your dog is motivated, we'd love to see them!

Miss Kiowa recently celebrated her twelfth birthday!

We love seeing our slightly older dogs, especially when they're as lovely as Kiowa is 🥰

This girl had surgery all the way back in 2019, and now just sees us for ongoing maintenance to keep her strength and muscle mass.

If you have a pup who's getting a little bit older and starting to need a bit of support we'd love to meet them ❤️🐾

🐕 Is your dog struggling with chronic pain? ❤️‍🔥🐾

👀Watching your furry friend struggle with chronic pain is heartbreaking. ❤️‍🩹 Conditions like arthritis, hip dysplasia, and injuries can trap dogs in a painful cycle:

🔄PAIN ➡ REDUCED MOVEMENT ➡ MUSCLE LOSS ➡ MORE PAIN.

But there’s hope! 🙏
🔦Laser therapy reduces inflammation and pain at a cellular level, promoting healing.
💦Hydrotherapy builds strength and mobility without putting pressure on sore joints.
Together, they help dogs:
😄MOVE MORE → HURT LESS → LIVE HAPPIER !

🐶If your pup is slowing down, these therapies could be life-changing. If you would like to find out more about the benefits our services can bring to your four-pawed friend, please contact us:

Mr Jack 🐾

This gorgeous boy is another one of our weekly clients, and seeing him is always a joy!

Jack is a Cyprus rescue who came to the UK as a puppy and is now ten years old. He has arthritis, as well as having had a fractured radius, which was repaired with an arthroscopy. 🫶

He was a nervous boy when we first met him, but we've watched him grow in confidence and get used to our centre slowly and surely. He now knows where he's going, what he's doing, and most importantly, where the treats live!

Word of the day: laser ⚡

We had four dogs in for laser treatment this afternoon!

Beautiful Truffle has hip dysplasia, and her laser helps relieve any discomfort for her hips and spine.

Elsie, Winnie, and Flossy are all quite similar in that they're a little bit older (Elsie the Great Dane is approaching her twelfth birthday!) and the laser can target where they're weakest and reduce any discomfort. ❤️‍🩹

You might notice that Elsie isn't wearing any laser goggles, and that's due to a cist on her left eye. We don't want to risk the goggles irritating or injuring that, and as her laser isn't close to her face she's still safe!

Laser treatment is so good for a variety of conditions including arthritis, wounds, pain, and post operative healing. 🥰

Look at those eyebrows 😍

Meg is one of our members, and seeing her always brightens our week! A waggy tail and enthusiastic greeting go a long way 🥰

This girl is an 11 year old Labradoodle with bilateral hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, and some arthritis.

Her owners have opted for conservative management over surgery, which requires careful management and monitoring over a dog's lifetime. For Meg, this involves weekly hydrotherapy to ensure her joints are as supple as possible, reduce any muscle pain, and keep a careful eye on her overall mobility and comfort.

Meg's parents have done an incredible job of ensuring she maintains her quality of life, while also managing her conditions 🫶

Only kidding, Dennis looooooves the whole thing 😂

We quite literally get dragged into the laser room to get started, and that is the pose Dennis pulls throughout! A lot of owners worry that their dog won't enjoy laser, but this guy can confirm: laser is the best (and the belly rubs after are pretty cool too) 🥰

Laser can help with so many issues, and is a very non invasive, relaxing treatment. It stimulates cell growth, provides deep tissue pain relief, and delivers energy to muscles, tendons, and joints.

We have a class four laser, which is brilliant for conditions such as arthritis, degenerative myelopathy, pain/trauma, healing wounds or post operative, and many many more! 🐾

Miss Mallory had her first pool session recently 😍

She's worked hard in the underwater treadmill to boost her range of motion, build muscle and correct her gait, so seeing her in the pool for the first time was so rewarding 🥰

A lot of dogs with conditions such as hip dysplasia do benefit from both the underwater treadmill and the pool as they target different muscle groups and require different movements.

But Mallory's big important question was: where's the snacks? 😆🍭

Hydrotherapy has made a huge difference to Mallory's overall comfort since being diagnosed with hip dysplasia and we're so proud of her progress.
