Stable time doesn’t have to be boring! Small changes can create more opportunities for your horse to forage, explore, move and make choices.

🌾 1. Make feeding more interesting with the Likit Graze Maze, use in the bottom of your horse’s feed bowl to make feed time longer lasting and engaging.

👃 2. Engage their senses by providing different challenges, textures and change up enrichment locations around the stable.

🧩 3. Food-based enrichment can encourage horses to problem-solve and work for a reward, but keep the challenge appropriate for the individual horse by using our challenge system.

🔄 4. Variety matters. Rotate your horse’s favourite Likit toys or use different flavours or textures so they remain interesting.

💡 5. Tailor activities to the individual horse to create meaningful opportunities for natural behaviour.

Seeing the difference in Gigi has honestly been amazing 🥹❤️

Before, she could be restless and unhappy when in her stable. She would often try to push her way out, even if it meant knocking over people and objects that may be in her way. On one occasion Gigi even managed to pull the door off its hinges! But since introducing her to Likit toys, she’s become so much happier, more settled and content. The biggest thing for me is seeing her now happily choosing to go into her stable on her own accord, something I once thought I’d never see! 🥰

Over the years Gigi has tried all of the challenge levels and her favourite toys have to be the Likit Tongue Twister (especially with a Cherry Little Likit) and the Likit Snak-a-Ball, both of which are rated as medium on the Likit Challenge System.

It’s such a simple addition to her routine, but the enrichment and distraction they provide have made such a positive difference to her wellbeing. A happy horse makes for a very happy owner! 🐴💗✨

Gigi’s stable is no longer a place she has to be, but somewhere she’s actually happy to be. ❤️
