Taking the weekend off to recharge my batteries. Self care is so important for everyone. The hills is a great way to take a walk that is less stimulating for your dog as less distractions and the glorious sound of nature. I'll be back doing admin next week.

Archer honestly takes his job seriously.....he knows sky is scared of him so he rolled over acting like a fool. She got brave enough to give him a wee kiss. Sky is torn between wanting to play and keeping archer away from her back end. She walks with shorter gate so she has been referred on to get this checked. Behaviour always tells a story. Yes poms can be barky but more than often its your dog trying to tell you something. Archer was more than happy to get a tummy tickle so sky could see he wasnt a threat 🤣

I often get asked boy or girl ....whats the difference. Breeds differ but when it comes to teenage males they tend to like to risk take more and explore so recall gets trickier. Girls can become more wary and assess things more. Ripples rarely leaves my side where Archer only gets off lead when its safe to do so as he can take his time to come back. Nothing drastic but I dont want him to rehearse this so plenty training on long line during his 6 mile walk today. This will improve with time and training. Back pack also helps burn off extra teenage energy.

Busy early weekend (Fri/Sat) show for these girls. Daisy got the memo that I wanted a win for my birthday and scored an agility win. She is moving so much better and I'm sure with more treatment will keep moving better for our possible last session doing competitions next year. Pip was far more confident on the friday and got herself some ribbons too. Rocky just had silly mistakes which were all my fault so no rosettes for him.
